We found worms in the food !!! when i told the manager about it. He said "Sorry". And they didnt even remove the vegtables (which included worms)from the dinner buffet. The next day i saw a cockroach under the bread basket at breakfast. The hotel managment dose not car about the cleaness or quality of service I dont advise anybody to stay at this hotel for hygen reasons. Maged Toson

It Looks Nice, But...

Superficially, this is a nice resort - decent rooms, attractive grounds, etc. The food is passable, but certainly nothing to rave about. The big problem is that when we first got in our room and turned on the water in the bathroom it was brown. After letting it run for a couple minutes and not seeing any change in the color I called the desk. They said to let it run for 2 minutes and it would be clear. After having both the sink and bathtub faucets completely open for 20 minutes there was still a trace of brown in the water. Then we noticed an odor, which smelled like sewage, in the bathroom. At this point we had to leave the room for dinner, where another person in our group mentioned she also had the sewage smell. She had complained to the desk, and got moved from a ground floor room to one on the second floor. Since we also had a ground floor room we subsequently also complained, and got moved upstairs, which resolved the odor problem, although we again had to let the water run for several minutes to get it reasonably clear. The other issue I have with this hotel is that there is a tray in the room with a pot for heating water along with coffee cups and a couple tea bags and packets of instant Nescafe. This would appear to be the type of complimentary coffee and tea often found in hotel rooms. However, on check-out I discovered that they charge 8 Egyptian pounds (about US $1.40 or about 1 euro) for each tea bag or Nescafe packet used. (The mini-bar price list does list the tea bags and Nescafe, but I didn't look at the mini-bar list for what appeared to be complimentary.)

Lovely points but the all inclusive is a con

Good family property. Safely enclosed. Attractive. Clean. Good pool. Lovely beaches. Superb diving. Staff wonderful. However, the food is average to bad. The food is boring, repetitive and what people don't eat appears at the next meal in a salad or stew or as an amazing concoction! The restaurant is a canteen. The inclusive alchohol is disgusting. In my opinion they added sterilising fluid or similar to ALL the all inclusive alchohol in order to stop you wanting to drink it. Throughout the whole week I was there I did not enjoy one alchoholic drink. The smell of baby sterilisation tablets made me gag before I even swallowed and tasted it. The wine was undrinkable. The beer almost undrinkable. The spirits undrinkable. Do not be conned into thinking you will be able to relax and enjoy nice evenings in the bar after diving. You wont unless you've got a lot of money to buy individual, sealed bottles that are not inclusive. Overall - a good week with wonderful diving. However, I would not return to this resort again based purely on not being able to get a good meal or drink throughout the whole week.
