Spent a week here in January and going back again in April..Staff very friendly and helpful..Treat myself to a Wash and Blow in the Hotel Hair Salon and also Galabayas and Scarves from the Hotel Shops,all good value...Rooms large and clean..Nile views are stunning..We were on the 5th Floor,so had excellent view...Food very good with plenty of choice..Snack menu excellent value for money....This Hotel is in a great location.. 2 minute stroll to the corniche for crossing to West Bank..Luxor Temple and bazaar a 5 minute stroll..Do visit the Tourist Information at your earliest opportunity for advice on real prices to be paying for taxis etc..

Wonderful hotel. Clean. Staff friendly. Service excellent. Facilities great. Location very central for all attractions on the East Bank and easy access to the West Bank on the Corniche. Fantastic Views from the sea view rooms. Food was excellent in both the restaurant and cafe/bar. Highly recommend the pizzas, spoke to the PR lady who said they are opening an italian restaurant in the near future. Overall good value for money and will be going back.

The hotel was simply impeccable. Our room, the reception and all the places where we went were shinning. It is located in a very central area , so it will be easy to move from one temple to another, bazarsÂ…

They have swimming pool on the last floor. It is very small but you will not need it because the views from there are amazing. I recommend you take books with you and enjoy from the roof watching the daybreak and the sunset, superb!!

The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic. In general the food in the hotel reasonable enough ,pizzas are delicious.

The best part of the hotel was the staff and much to my relief they spoke English quite good. Friendly and helpful and they directed me to the best places in Luxor.

I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Luxor. The staff are friendly and for the price I paid I was very happy with this hotel and will probably use it again.

Top Local Tips for Luxor

Getting to Know things Before you go I would advise that you research a little about prices etc, I found the rough guide to Egypt a good book and borrowed it from my local library. There were many people carrying this book around. Once you settle into your hotel, visit the Tourist Office which is very close to Luxor Temple, here you will find out all the official prices for the taxis, feluccas, caleches, etc, as well as the times of openning and entrance prices for the various attractions. (The light and sound show at Karnak is shown in different languages at different times). Talk to the locals, they may want to sell you something but they are also very friendly, and a polite "La Shukran"/"No thank you" with a smile is more appreciated than just ignoring them.

Everything Booked? If you are like me and you don't book before you leave for your trip, try Luxor! They had many available rooms open even though there were major events taking place in and all around Vegas.

Ballon Trip - Gotta do it!! Amazing trip with the biggest balloon operation there. Get your tickets at Jolly's on the Corniche, best prices anywhere, around 400 LE
