The first time a stayed at the Snafer Hotel was in september and december 2005 for diving. The next time I came baxk to Hurghada was in may 2007 and adain we stayed in Snafer hotel. If you don't need luxury then this hotel is good. The rooms are cleaned every day and if you watn they bring your clothes to the dry cleaner. The people are very friendly and the price is due to €15,00 for a double room with breakfast which is typical Egypt bread with tea, boiled egg (every day) a cup of jam and cheese, sometimes you can get beans added to the breakfast. We go every year twice or tree times to Hurghada for diving and always stay at the Snafer hotel. The hotelrooms at the second floor has been renewed and painted in september 2008 we were there in december and it was nice to see that everyhting looked fresh.
A recomander for divers and bagpackers wo watn to travel cheap.

Just friendly, simple , in the arabic way.
Clean but very basic rooms, shower, toilet.
Airco OK, Breakfast slow but basic arabic, coffee or thee, 1 boiled egg and bread and jam.

I use this hotel when I go diving in Hurghada, and no need of luxuary. I pad 70 LE = 10 EUR/night, if booked by 'arabic' otherwise you will pay twice or 3x the price.
