Location is fantastic, the rooms were quite standard but what more do ya want?? Food was good, but not much choice in the restaurants, however the pool bar done excellent food. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and so helpful. I liked it so much i'm going back this year!

Top Local Tips for Hurghada

Costs of transport Don't accept the first price quoted. Official taxis are navy blue and orange. Quickly convert the egyptian pounds back to English or your currency. I paid 20 EGP for a taxi but when you convert that back to English at the current rate (approx 10EP to the GB pound) that's less than 2 quid!!!

2,5 egyptian pounds you shouldn't pay more than 2,5 egyptian pounds for transportation with buses in hurghada town

Transport & Taxis can be cheap BUT BEWARE Remember folks taxis in Hurghada DO have meters and they DO work no matter what the driver says to you, these meters were put in by the government to STOP tourists being ripped off. Insist before you get in a taxi for the driver to put his meter on, if he does not or says it broke, refuse to get it....another taxi will be along in seconds trust me.
