Even though one of the oldest hotels in Hurghada it has been renovated to keep up with more modern complexes. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are very spacious and clean, a much better standard than more expensive hotels we have stayed in Spanish resorts. Definitely recommend it as a cheaper option to the 5 star all inclusives that many of my friends have stayed in and have felt restricted to the hotel as they wanted to get their moneys worth out of the all inc which didn't offer much variety with regard to food etc. The pizzeria accross the street from Princess at Friendship offers really inexpensive tasty food that is a good alternative to the buffet if you fancy a change, with pizzas starting at just 2 sterling. It isn't the Four Seasons but it isn't trying to be(and it is very cheap), I think guests need to bear that in mind!!

A place is actual wonderful. A hotel deserves it 4 stars. Rooms are large and spacious. Cleaning up of rooms every day and high-quality. Feed not very much various, but deliciously and high-quality. A personnel is educated, friendly and unobtrusive. The command of animation works fine. Special gratitude to Mr. Ayman Shaaban, F&B Manager, for organization of new-year holiday and excellent work of hotel.

It´s the worst hotel I´ve ever been. We had to stay there for 3 days, as our hotel had no rooms for us (other story). Very dirty place, we had no courage to take the bath-everything is yellow because of old water and no hot water. Yhe hall stinks as if it was "cleaned" with an old uncleaned rag, restaurant dirty, plates are with old dried pieces of food and meal is awful. After staying in this hotel, we all were itchy.

If you actual take a look at the rates of the hotel and compare it to other prices you will see it is actually a good deal. It has bee the second time I have come to the hotel and they have changed allot. They renovated most of the hotel and the food has changed so as the atmosphere. So I have to say that was a truly job well done for the princess hotel.

If I only would have known and would have read the comments about this hotel, I surely would have booked another hotel. This hotel should be ashamed. There is not one thing I can talk positive about. The food is bad, the rooms are dirty and never cleaned, the staff is obnoxious and thinks that every single Russian girl is a prostitute. The beach is too small and the matresses on the beach are old and dirty. You never see the mangement. To make a long story short, this has been the worst vacation of my life and will never ever return to this hotel and will inform my Travel Agent about this as well. So if you are planning to go to Hurghada Egypt, DO NOT BOOK AT THE PRINCESS PALACE HOTEL !!!!

I do not understand why Russian tour operators have this hotel in their brochures. This is not a hotel, but this a barnyard. If you want to get sick of the food, eat, if you want to be bitten by bed bugs, sleep, if you want to see wildlife, go and stroll around the hotel at night and you see more rats and cockroaches then you have ever seen in your life. So still going, enjoy your stay and post your experience on the net.

The Princess Palace Hotel 148 in Hurgada is the best hotel I have ever seen. The personal are all really really friendly in the week I was there. I never seen so friendly and nice people they always give u that what u need. The hotel itself is very beautiful too, the food is delectable, the swimming pool very clean.
