Fantastic Hotel

I've just returned from the Dahab Paradise yesterday and was so impressed that I had to write a review on them. The hotel is about a 5min drive from the centre of the town (costing about 10-15 Egyptian pounds) but could be walkable if you fancied it. Because its out of town its really quiet and the staff are there for your every whim. We spent 9 days in Dahab most of it diving but when we got back to the hotel the staff were always smiling and helpful however tired we were. Not everything is perfect, we went half board and there was a little confusion on a menu but the food was excellent so it wasn't a huge issue. All rooms had a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea which was lovely to sit on during the day. They were simple but comfortable rooms with no television however it was really nice to get completely away from home and if you really wanted to stay up-to-date with the world there was free wi-fi in the hotel. Overall a really relaxing place, really enjoyable, excellent food. We would definatly go again!

I must say when we got to Dahab late at night our cab driver would'nt take us to the cheap places we read about online, but because of a series of events, we ended up at the Dahab Paradise. It was wonderful, with fly's but that is just part of Dahab. The service is top rate and the guys working there are professional care takers to the fullest. At night the property is all lit up with romantic lighting and all the rooms have pool/garden/ocean facing porches with lounge chairs. The location is a few minutes by jeep/taxi to the main drag in Dahab on the road to the Blue Hole. It really doesn't matter about the distance yo can get anywhere fast and cheap in Dahab. We are returning in a couple weeks only 3 months after we were last there. Breakfast is included and is good/standard but will save you the trouble of looking for breakfast in town (which can be plain awfull!) Anway, for the price, Dahab Paradise is a bargin and yes, it is a "paradise".
