They have their own private beach which is excellent. Mamoura beach is far from downtown and where all the other hotels are but if you like the quite beaches this is the hotel for you. The pool was excellent. The room was good. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. One note of caution though, they have late night parties in the hotel ball room which is quite close to the rooms (which are by the pool). They play loud music till 1 or 2AM so if you require absolute silence to fall asleep you're gonna have a problem. I highly recommend this place. It maybe a bit far from downtown but thats its beauty. The four seasons doesn't even have its own beach. Plus you can easily get a taxi to anywhere from outside the hotel.

This will be my third and final review on this Hotel as I will not be visiting it again! Possibly the trip in April when I gave it such a glowing report was a "Purple Patch" but oh how things have fallen apart since then. We stayed at this Hotel for 9 days in October on a Bed/ Breakfast and Evening meal basis, it being Ramadan we thought it would be better to eat in the Hotel in the evenings, what a mistake!!. If I see CHICKEN again I will scream, as this was basically nearly all we were offered for the whole 9 days either with French Fries or Rice, together with a bowl of soup and 1 plate of salad or tahini, or babaganoush!!... now I do enjoy Egyptian Cuisine but for the money that we paid this was a joke, when we saw what meals the staff were breaking their fast with it seemed that we were eating no better than they were in fact sometimes worse... On one occasion the Gym staff gave us their fruit salad, something we had never even been offered at our evening meals!!! The breakfast was an open buffet selection and fruit often consisted of a couple of oranges, a bunch of grapes and one melon sliced on a plate for everyone, and once that was gone nothing was put in its place. The breakfasts were nothing like we had experienced on our April trip. I suppose the worse thing about the Hotel was that no-one cared, there seemed to be no driving force behind the staff, they just pleased themselves. Now I know this was Ramadan and things do go more slowly but my thoughts are if you cannot deliver the goods during this time then as a business you should not take paying guests money!! I could write a lot longer reveiw about this Hotel but I think what I have said gives a good picture, it is an honest report and hopefully helpful, if you wish to try this Hotel then I will not say no, but just think on what I have said

I think it is fair to update my review that I wrote last year about the Paradise Inn Mamoura Beach Alexandria...... what a very pleasant improvement from my last visit in April 2005... The friendliness of the staff has totally changed, many smiles from ALL of staff and a very helpful, cosy atmosphere. The room was beautifully cleaned with little extras in the bathroom apart from Soap, Shampoo and Shower Gel.. a needle case and thread and a shoe horn. emery board all were replaced the next day if used. The gardens were immaculate and the swimming pool and surrounding area kept very clean. We only ate breakfast which was superb with excellent presentation with many many choices. In my opinion an upgrade from 2005 with credit to all of the staff for this effort.

Visited the Hotel in this resort in April 2005.It is situated on a large private Estate with temporary resident's pass needed to enter and exit (or a fee to be paid to the gate attendant). The Estate is a mix of mainly residential apartments, fast food restaurants and a few small beach type shops. The Paradise Inn Hotel is situated in the corner of this Estate next to the famous Montazeh Gardens. It is two storeys high with the rooms situated around a very nice swimming pool and small well kept gardens. The double room that we had although very clean and well attended was quite small and basic with phone TV fridge etc. The Hotel was being decorarated at the time we were there and we felt it deserved a bit more tlc. as it is not a new building and needs greater upkeep to maintain a good reputation. The beach outside the Hotel was very good except in April it was not really ready for holiday makers many of the private apartments along the promedade were still shuttered and looked a bit sad and neglected, but I am sure at the height of the season it would be a good place to have a beach holiday. The resort is near to the Montazeh Gardens which are superb but quite a way out of town, needing a good Taxi ride into the centre of Alexandria to do any shopping or exploring Overall I would rate this 4 star hotel as 7/10 I have no complaints but think that the Hotel staff are more used to Egyptian holidaymakers than visitors from overseas.
