Museum and Art Galley of Darwin – Located in a tropical garden, the Museum and Art Galley of Darwin houses many spectacular exhibits including the chillingly re-enactment of the fierce Cyclone Tracey that devastated Darwin in 1974. Other displays and exhibits include ocean related art and Aboriginal art pieces.
Aviation Heritage Center – Many aviation related artifacts and memorabilia are to be found here at the Aviation Heritage Center. View a B-52 bomber (one of only two on display outside the U.S.), other military aircrafts and more at the center.
Indo-Pacific Marine – Visitors can view displays of real living coral ecosystems and a wide range of exotic creatures and sea life at Indo-Pacific Marine. The area in which the exhibition is housed has been viewed as a run-down port area but is currently being redeveloped.

Banyan Tree Cafe - Enjoy a fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner right in the heart of Darwin at Banyan Tree Café. After your meal you can take a long walk with the restaurants very own map and written guide to the city of Darwin.
Pee Wee’s Restaurant - Everyone can find something that they will enjoy at Pee Wee’s Restaurant. The eclectic menu features everything from local seafood to kangaroo and duck making this a great place for all types of tastes and palates.
Dragon Court - If you are in the mood for truly authentic and traditional Asian cuisine while in Darwin, then you must make plans to stop into Dragon Court. The menu offers a wide variety of Asian delights and an extensive wine list. The restaurant is open limited days during the week for dinner, so you may want to call ahead.

Mindil Beach - Around dusk on Thursday and Sunday nights during the dry season, locals begin to congregate on the beach and settle in on their tables, chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening. Thai, Sri Lankan, Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Greek and Portuguese meals are available and sometimes one will be lucky enough to see the live entertainment.
Darwin Beaches - The area is filled with spectacular beaches including Mindil and Vestey's. Further east there is a nudist beach for the less inhibited. Visitors to the beach area should be aware to not go into the water during the wet season because of the deadly box jellyfish.
East Point Reserve - Visit this undeveloped bushland north of Fannie Bay in the late afternoon to watch the wallabies come out to feed. East Point Reserve is a relaxing and tranquil beach area where visitors can enjoy a jelly-free lake where visitors can swim as well as other scenic attractions.

Darwin Crocodile Farm – Darwin Crocodile Farm is a croc farm that is home to more than 8000 saltwater and freshwater crocodiles. Come in the early afternoon for the croc feeding time. Many day tours are available that visitors can be part of which depart from Darwin.
Howard Springs – This croc free swimming hole is surrounded by forests and is a great place to take a nice swim or spend the day relaxing. Although the springs are a bit crowded on the weekends it is worth the trip. Children will be fascinated by the fish, turtles and tame wallabies that graze around the springs.
Litchfield National Park – Located 85 miles south of Darwin the Litchfield National Park is a wide sandstone plateau surrounded by cliffs. Four waterfalls and surrounding rainforest patches make this the perfect day or overnight trip. Visitors can enjoy camping or cruises of the Reynolds River system, which runs through the park.
