ALICE SPRINGS ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Alice Springs Cultural Precinct - Larapinta Drive at Memorial Avenue. This is a great place to begin sightseeing in Alice Springs. Here you'll find the Museum of Central Australia, which houses exhibits on local fossils; natural history; and meteorites. The Araluen Centre is where you'll find some outstanding Aboriginal and contemporary Australian art. The Aviation Museum is also worth checking out.

Aboriginal Art & Culture Centre - 86 Todd Street. This centre was set up by the Southern Arrente Aboriginal people. The centre houses a small museum that houses exhibits on all aspects of Aborginal life. This centre is recommended for all first time visitors to Alice Springs.

National Pioneer Women's Hall of Fame - 27 Hartley Street. This museum tells the stories of over 100 Australian women who were pioneers in their fields. The museum has a collection of photographs; domestic items; and other memorabilia.

ALICE SPRINGS RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
Red Ochre Grill - Todd Mall. This is one of the best restaurants in town and is very popular with locals. They serve a wide range of Australian dishes, including barramundi baked in paperbark with wild lime and coriander butter. This is the place to go to experience the best that Australia has to offer.

Palms Restaurant - 34 Stott Terrace. This is most sophisticated restaurant in town, and is the place to go if you're looking for the best upscale dining experience. They serve a wide range of modern Australian cuisine. They also serve some of Australia's best beers and wines.

Overlanders Steakhouse - 72 Hartley Street. This is one of the most famous restaurants in Alice Springs, thanks to its "Drover's Blowout" menu. They serve a wide range of steaks and other interesting Australian food, including a platter of crocodile vol-au-vents; camel and kangaroo filet; and emu medallions.

Casa Nostra - by Evie from Australia - 2008-01-10
Known to many international and local folk as "The Brown Derby", of the Alice. Owned for over 20 years by the same family, traditional Italian fare using family recipes. A must visit for the discerning visitor!!!!!

ALICE SPRINGS BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Bar Doppio - 2 and 3 Fan Arcade, Todd Mall. This is one of the best bars in town, and is the prefect place to go if you need to cool down after a long day's worth of sightseeing. It is popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists alike. Here you can sit back, relax and down a cold one.

The Firkin and Hound - 21 Hartley Street. This English pub is one of the most popular places amongst the locals. Here you can sit back and have a few drinks, or have a some fun with a range of traditional pub games on offer. This is a great place to mix with some of the locals and make new friends.

ALICE SPRINGS CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES Add your favourite children's spot
Alice Springs Reptile Centre - 9 Stuart Terrace. This is a great place to take the children on an unforgettable day out. Here they can walk around with pythons or bearded dragons on their shoulders. The centre has around 30 different species of reptile on display, including Australia's deadly inland taipan..

Alice Springs Desert Park - Larapinta Drive just out of town. This is another great place to take the children for a fun day out. The park houses around 120 different animal species that live in the desert around Alice Springs. There is also a Birds of Prey show at 10h00 and 15h30.
