Jackson Hole Aerial Tram Rides - the tram runs in summer and winter approximatley every half hour from Teton Village at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at an elevation of about 10 000 feet. The views on the top of Rendezvous Mountain are incredibly beautiful.
National Elk Refuge - in order to help the elk population survive, the US Fish and Wildlife service feeds the elk alfalfa pallets during winter. You can see these elegant creatures at the refuge, as well as coyote, moose, swans and sometimes even wolves. From mid December till April you can also take horse drawn sleigh rides through the refuge. Rides leave from the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center, located at 532 North Cache Street.
National Museum of Wildlife Art - a 50 000 square foot castel with a red sandstone facade houses some of the finest examples of wildlife art in the country. The museum also has a 200 seat auditoriam, a huge library of wildlife films and 14 exhibit galleries that display temperory collections and shows.
Yellowstone National Park - all kinds of wildlife live in the forested area including bison, elf, grizzly bears and moose. The park also has many rivers, streams and waterfalls and its most famous attraction are the geothermal geysers and hot springs. Old Faithful is the most well known geysers and spectacularly erupts every 65 minutes.
Ripleys Believe It Or Not - if you are a fan of the hit TV show then you will love this museum of sorts, that has among others a 20 foot tall climbing rock, a cave of wonders, a midboggling upside down room and a collection of prehistoric giant skulls, bones and fossilised dinosaur eggs. |

Billy's Giant Hamburgers - west side of Town Square. Eat a giant juicy burger in this cramped 1950s style lunch booth. Open daily 11:30am to 11pm.
Jedediahs House of Sourdough - 135E Broadway. Jedediahs is extremly popular and you may have to wait patiently, but when your food does arrive, you will not be disappointed. Try the delicious sourdough pancakes served with blueberries. Dinner such as rainbow trout and BBQ chicken are served in summer.
Sweetwater Restaurant - 85 King Street. Swerving delicious American food with a twist, like smoked buffalo carpaccio and cowboy grilled roast beef sandwich. The restaurant is built from logs and the atmosphere is cozy. Open daily 11am to 3pm and 5:30pm to 10pm.
Nora's Fish Creek Inn - 5600W Wyo 22. You can not miss the 15 foot trout on the roof of this casual local hangout. The food is fantastic, inexpensive and served in giant portions. Try the pancakes and fresh Idaho trout.
The Cadillac Grille - 55N Cache. An Art Deco style restaurant with lots of neon and hip eclectic American cuisine. This is the place to see and be seen. Open daily 11:30am to 3pm and 5:30pm to 10pm. |

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar - 25N Cache Street. Dance the two step to live local music at this famous bar.
Shady Lady Saloon - at The Snow King Resort. A favourite local spot with music, a full bar and serving great appertizers. Open 2pm to 1:30am.
Snake River Brewing Company - 2655 Milward. Located in a remodled old cinder block warehouse, this is both a brewery and brew pub, where you can taste the local brew.
Stage Coach Bar - 22 Wyoming Street. A packed local bar and burger joint with a lively band on Sunday nights that leads to frantic dancing. |

| As with most American towns, Jackson Hole has shops that sell just about everything you can imagine from oriental rugs to cowboyboots but what Jackson is realy great for is its outdoor wear shops and art galleries. For outdoor clothing head to Teton Mountaineering and Moosely Seconds, where you can get great discounts. The Images of Nature Gallery is where you will find Tom Mangelsens lovely wildlife photographs. A great place to buy sculptures and paintings is the Wilcox Gallery. |

Alpine Miniature Golf Course - Located at The Snow King Resort. A great place to take the kids to play 18 holes of miniature golf.
Alpine Slide - enjoy the 2500 foot wild ride from the top of the blue and yellow chairlift to the bottom of Snow King Mountain. |
