Santa Fe Indian Market - With its origins dating back to 1921, the Santa Fe Indian market has become a local favorite attraction. Hailed as the largest Indian market in the world, the market features over 1,200 artists representing over 100 Native American tribes. Enjoy Native clothing contests, dancing and live music.
Canyon Road – Enjoy a beautiful walk down one of the oldest sections of Santa Fe. The 2-mile stretch of road is lined with some of the most fantastic shops, restaurants and art galleries. The area was originally a residential area for Spanish settlers so you can enjoy wonderful Santa Fe culture and history in every nook and cranny.
The Santa Fe Wine and Chile Festival - Featuring some of the best wines and regional cuisine, the Festival attracts a mulituted visitors each year. For dinner stop by one of the more than 30 participating restaurants that feature the “Winery Diner.” At the end of you could day bid on some of the greatest wines, trips and fine art at the on-site auction.

Coyote Cafe - Dine on the unique blend of regional flavors mixed with some international influences prepared by local renowned chef Mark Miller. The festive interior and pleasant staff will make your night one to remember. Happily serving Santa Fe's finest for the past 20 years, Coyote Cafe is usually very busy so make sure to make your reservations in advance.
The Shed - The Shed is in a beautiful 17th century house and serves up some of the best Santa Fe cuisine in town. Quaint and quiet the house is surrounded by many little local shops and boutiques. Try the house specialty Blue Corn Enchiladas with red or green chili.
El Farol - Located on the historic Canyon Road. A local favorite for many years, El Farol is a great place to spend an evening. The menu is Spanish influenced and offers guests many tempting delights. Relax and enjoy live music during dinner and maybe take a turn a turn on the dance floor after dessert.

Sanbusco Market Center - This area was a railroad-warehousing district in the late 1800's and was restored during the mid-1980's and brought back to life. There are many different shops and restaurants. Most of the shops are locally owned, but one can find a couple of recognizable store names. Enjoy a colourful outing in this brightly decorated centre.
Palace of the Governors - This Registered National Historic Landmark was first settled by Spanish conquerors in the 1600's. Now transformed into a museum displaying a collection of books on the history of the Southwest and Santa Fe. Palace of the Governors is the perfect place to gain better knowledge of the colorful history of the region. Native American peddlers sell art, jewelry, pottery and more around the outside of the building.
Villa Linda Mall - Villa Linda Mall is Santa Fe's largest and most up-dated mall. There are over 80 shops and 4 large department stores. Besides shopping you can take a break and grab a bite to eat in the center food court or take in a movie. Great place to people watch!

Santa Fe Children’s Museum – Kids of all ages will the love the hands-on activities at the Santa Fe Children's museum. The museum features a kid's climbing wall, snake exhibit, obstacle course, and working greenhouse and offers daily scavenger hunts. A gift shop offers plenty of memorabilia.
Pecos Wilderness – Designated as a wilderness in the 1930's you will have a great time exploring the enchanted lands of Pecos Wilderness. Climb the second highest peak, Truchas Peak or hike to the headwaters of Pecos River and be mesmerized by the 100-foot tall waterfall. Bring a camera, there is much scenic beauty here. Maps and information about the area can be obtained at The National Park office in Santa Fe.
The Planetarium – Children will love gazing at the stars and planets at The Planetarium located at Santa Fe Community College. Call ahead to find out about special programs and events. The main attraction is held in The Planetarium the first Thursday of each month. Learn about the universe and galaxy in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

The Santa Fe New Mexican - Santa Fe's only daily newspaper, founded in 1849, it is the oldest newspaper in the West. Offers news, classifieds, cars and trucks, employment ads, a monthly Real Estate Guide, guides to the outdoors, the arts, events of interest to visitors.
