| Morristown was a center to some of the most important battles of the civil war. The town has a rich history; much of it is well preserved with nine historical trust recognized properties. Morristown is also famous for being the town where Tennessee hero, Davy Crocket spent his childhood. |

MacCulloch Hall Historical Museum – This museum is located at 45 MacCulloch Avenue, here you will find American and English decorative arts, a collection of works by Thomas Nast as well as four changing exhibits.
Morris Museum – This is the main museum of Morristown and is located at 6 Normandy Heights Road. The museum houses exhibits featuring the Arts, science and humanities.
Acorn Hall – Come visit this exquisitely preserved Victorian mansion surrounded by equally attractive gardens of the same period. The mansion dates from around 1853 and is to be found at 68 Morris Avenue. |

Frank & Sheri’s – Tucked away on a side street, this excellent restaurant is the place to come for its mouth-watering Portuguese and Mediterranean dishes. You will find the restaurant at 19-21 Market Street.
La Campagna – This restaurant serves northern Italian dishes, prepared the traditional way by the owner-chef. The grilled salmon stuffed with caramelised onion, goats cheese and olive tapenade filling served on an olive potato puree with red wine reduction drizzled on top is reportedly outstanding.
Pazzo Pazzo – Located off the green in Morristown, this stylish restaurant makes you feel like you are in neighbouring New York rather than suburban New Jersey. The decor is a mixture of rich mahogany and raspberry coloured walls lit by hundreds of candles. The food is equally exciting and worth the visit. 74 Speedwell Avenue. |

Jimmy’s – The college crowd that frequents this bar/club really know how to have a good time. The music caters for most tastes with plenty of dancing. Jimmy’s is located at 217 South Street.
Boca Bay – A good spot for drinks or a night out with dancing and popular music. Boca bay can be found at 2 Whippany Road.
Hunkmania – This place is for a ladies night out with lots of activities for single women. |

Lewis Morris Park – A beautiful park consisting of 1154 acres rolling parkland with jogging trails, and facilities for skiing, swimming and boating.
