S. S. William A. Irvin - Located on 350 Harbour drive. The large freight ship was once known as the flagship of U.S. Steel's "Silver Stack Fleet." The boat ship is longer than 2 football fields put together and was used to carry 14,000 tons of iron ore. It is now permanently docked in Duluth and offers visitors exciting tours of the pilot house, engine room, the crew quarters, lounges, staterooms, the guest gallery, dining room and the cargo holds.
Glensheen Mansion - Located on 3300 London Road. The mansion consists of 7 acres of beautifully manicured land. It features a carriage house, a gardeners cottage and a large clay tennis court. The house is tastefully decorated with exquisite furniture and gorgeous artworks. A definite highlight is the garden, which surrounds the house, it is completely littered with beautiful plants and trees.
Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center - The center center contains a wonderful collection of exhibits which feature commercial shipping on Lake Superior. There is also an interesting collection of model ships and boats, as well as a film, which can be viewed by visitors. |

Chester Creek Cafe - The cafe is located on 1902 East Eighth Street. The cafe has become one of the most popular dining spots in the area. It features broad tables, good lighting and the most delicious coffee. One of their specialties is the Hippy Farm Breakfast, which consists of a bed of grilled vegetables served with two poached eggs topped with almond slivers and accompanied by tasty homemade toast.
Pizza Luce - The restaurant is located on 11 East Superior Street. This is without a doubt the funkiest restaurant in town, offering a uniquely bohemian chic atmosphere. The menu not only consists of the most delicious pizza's but also caters for vegetarians and vegans.

Renegade Comedy Theatre - Located on 404 West Superior Street. The perfect place to enjoy an evening of fun-filled laughter. Available every Saturday evening for entertainment is the Improv Olympics which is completely outrageous and promises to have you rolling on the ground with laughter. The theatre also hosts theatre productions for children every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Grandma's Sports bar - The sports bar is has a fully equipped bar, offering all the popular drinks, as well as a great selection of local and international beers and wines. At night the bar is transformed into a hotspot dance club featuring the latest dance tunes.

Canal Park - The park is located under the famous Aerial Lift Bridge. The park offers a stunning view of the daily business of the gigantic bridge, as well as a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. There a lots a beautiful trees and plants, as well as a lovely picnic area.
Enger Park - Located on the tip of the westernmost hill of Duluth, you will find this interesting park with its tower and 80 foot circular staircase. Once you reach the top of the hill, you will be completely awestruck by the magnificent views of the town. |
