Barren River Imaginative Museum of Science – Located at 1229 Center Street. Enjoy yourself at this mind-blowing, hair-raising interactive science museum, when you can be literally ‘blown-away’ with the force of the mini-tornado created by the BRIMS Blaster! Or, play around with the van de Graaf Eletrostatic Generator for that hair-raising experience. There is loads to see and do at the BRIMS, and a visit there will be time well spent.

Capitol Arts Center - Located at Fountain Square Park, 416 E. Main Avenue, in a renovated 1930 vaudeville house in Bowling Green’s historic downtown, the arts centre regularly features local and touring productions. The CAC two art galleries are open Monday-Friday 9 am - 4 pm and exhibit works of artists and students from the region.

Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon – 798 Beech Bend Park Road. There are over 40 different rides, a giant swimming pool, and loads more to entertain the entire family at this amusement park. It is also is home to a full- service campground, open 24 hours a day.

St. Joseph Catholic Church – Located at 434 Church Street, this historic Gothic style church was constructed over a 30-year period and dedicated in 1889. In 1975, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, in recognition of its artistic and historic significance.

Civil War Driving Tour – There are ten sites remaining in Bowling Green of its involvement in the Civil War, when Confederate Gen. Simon Bolivar Buckner, ended its state of neutrality by occupying the area on Sept. 18, 1861. Historic forts, homes, markers, a cave, and a monument and museum can be seen on the driving tour.

Mandolin – At 712 Chestnut Street, this Italian restaurant offers fine dining on seafood, pasta, steaks, and freshly baked Italian bread. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and provides guests with an ambience that is at once relaxed and attractive. Mandolin is open Mon.-Fri. 11 am - 9 pm, Sat. 5-9 pm.

Rafferty's Restaurant & Bar – Located at 1939 Scottsville Road, this restaurant offers hickory smoked barbecue ribs and chicken, steak and prime rib, served with excellent salads and soups. Also providing burgers and sandwiches, Rafferty’s has something for everyone, including a relaxed atmosphere and first-rate service.

Chaney’s Dairy Barn – Located at 9191 Nashville Road, apart from serving lunch and dinner, Chaney’s also offers guests Kentucky crafted products and Kentucky food items to take home, as well as a tour of the dairy farm. Good place to take the family!

Montana Grille – Located at 1740 Scottsville Road, this gorgeous log building provides a warm atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying such marvellous offerings as Pacific Northwest Salmon, or Bourbon Tenderloin Filet, or Fire Roasted Rotisserie Chicken. (To name only a few dishes from the menu). Open 4 pm daily; Sunday’s lunch & dinner.
