Carmel Miniature Museum - Located Downtown, near the library. This museum is a great place to take the children, it houses a collection of miniature doll houses. The exhibition rooms are filled with dollhouses and antique dolls and a few toys.
Carmel Clay Historical Society Museum - Old Monon Depot, 211 First Street. This interesting museum houses displays on the history of Carmel from it's early days up to the present. This is a great place to start off your sightseeing adventure of Carmel, with many informative exhibits.
Museum of Miniature Houses - 111 East Main Street. This museum is great fun for the whole family, and is one of th emust see activites for visitors new to Carmel. The museum houses exhibits of moser glass; gazebos, greenhouses and gardens; model ships; and giraffes. |

El Azabache Mexican Restaurant - 13710 N Meridian Street. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Carmel, and it is very popular with locals and tourists alike. Woody's Place - 40 E Main Street. This lively and fun bar is very popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists alike. They have big screen TVs that show live sporting events; pool tables; dart boards; and a jukebox available. This is a great place to have some fun, while meeting some of the locals. |

Cool Creek Park - Highway 31 and 145th Street. This beautiful park is a great place to take the family for a fun day out amongst nature, away from the more hectic city life. The park has a range of facilities, including children's playgrounds; an amphitheatre; a nature centre; picnic areas; and a few excellent trails through the woods.
Flowing Well Park - Located in East Carmel. This small park is another great place to take a break and relax. It is popular because of its unique well, which is said to be in the top five for fresh pure water supply. The well was discovered in 1904, and has been in use ever since. There is also a 1 mile nature trail, as well as a few picnic areas. |
