Peanut Island Take a ferry from Riviera Beach Marina to the famous Peanut Island, which was used during the cold war as a Coast Guard Station and bomb shelter. The area is also well known for its ties to John F. Kennedy. The island is currently being restores by many local government agencies. Visitors can tour the area for a nominal fee.
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens The Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden was inspired and replicated from and early Japanese farming settlement. The gardens include a relaxing oriental garden, Bonsai exhibit, and interactive Japanese quiz show and many Asian artifacts. There is a sense of utter peace and tranquility amidst the gardens that attracts tourists from all over.
Sunfest Held each May in Palm Beach Sunfest if the largest waterfront festival of its kind. The festival attracts more than 300,000 visitors each May and is filled with fun and exciting things to view and do. Four stages where live bands play fill the air with lively music while visitors of the festival browse through more than 150 artist's displays. There is a special kids area that offers child friendly activities, a bounce house and more.

Ellies 50s Diner - Fun and lively Ellie's 50's Diner brings back a sense of nostalgia with comfortable 50's decor and the great music of that time. Each dish is named after one of the songs popular during the ears. Children will love the exciting atmosphere and great food. Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe - Pete Rose Ballpark Cafe was originally started in Boca Raton where the famous ball player used to host his radio program from right inside the restaurant. Now located in Palm Beach the restaurant is a great place to grab a bite to eat during the day and enjoy a drink in the sports bar at night. The menu features great-American classics like hamburgers, salads, fajitas and more. There is an arcade where kids can play a variety of games and win prizes.
Taboo - Taboo is a very popular spot in town to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner and is also a great place to find fun and dancing when the sun goes down. Boynton Inlet/Ocean Inlet Park - World-Class diving is to be found right here at Boynton Beach Inlet. The warm waters are filled with exciting things to view including lobsters, an old shipwreck filled with amazing marine life and coral. The area is also a great spot for excellent fishing and many of the areas expert fisherman fish exclusive in the Inlet's waters.
John D. MacArthur Beach State Park - A popular spot for locals and tourists John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is located on a barrier island just off of the coastline. The beauty found here is like none other. Visitors to the park will enjoy more than just beautiful sand beaches they can also enjoy the natural wildlife and plant life of the area. Enjoy swimming, fishing, snorkeling and shell collecting.
Dubois Park - there is so much to do at Dubois Park. If the call of nature is beckoning you then you will truly love the park. A shallow lagoon perfect for children to play in surrounds the small beach area. Children will also enjoy watching the hermit crabs and shell collecting. The Indian Mound historical site and Dubois Pioneer Home are also located in the park grounds.

Lion Country Safari Drive though this 4-mile safari park and view thousands of animals roaming the grounds freely. Children will love the myriad of things to do. The park grounds offer a walk through park with a petting zoo, aviary, and a bird feeding exhibit, boat tours, Animal Theatre, miniature golf, a picnic area and carousel. There is so much to do here you may want to come back. Children under 2 are free.
Rapids Water Park Children and adults off all ages will love to escape the hot summer days at Rapids Water Park. The park caters to people of all ages. Younger children will have fun splashing around in the Tadpool and the older children will enjoy the thrilling water slides. Family members of all ages will enjoy relaxing on the Lazy River. Visitors can also play a round or two of miniature golf.
South Florida Science Museum The South Florida Science Museum is located right next door to the Palm Beach Zoo. The center offers many hands-on exhibits and activities, a large underwater aquarium filled with fascinating sea creatures and a planetarium that features concerts, laser shows and more.
