The Art Deco Historic District – South Beach area. These buildings painted vivid pink, turquoise and lavender were built in the 1920s. It is one of the biggest areas on the US National Register of Historic Places and its renovation and conservation have been one of the reasons for the renewal of Miami as a hot tourist spot.
Wolfsonian, Florida International University Museum – South Beach. The museum houses an eclectic collection of exhibits dating from the late nineteenth century to 1945. There displays of photos, old books, paintings, and unusual domestic objects, all of which create an impressive collection.
Holocaust Memorial – There is a large Jewish population in Miami Beach and the memorial was inspired and created by the Miami Beach Holocaust survivors. The monument is an ornate, finely detailed and moving memorial that is a testament to mankind’s persistence and hope for a kinder, more tolerant world.
The Everglades – Located at the southern point of the Florida peninsula, a trip out to the Everglades is a must if you are in this part of the world. It is a unique and fragile ecosystem that consists of marshes and swamps. It is the largest subtropical wilderness in the USA and home to alligators, crocodiles, bottle-nosed dolphins, manatees various birds of prey.
Carnaval Miami – This is an exuberant nine-day festival held at the beginning of March each year. There are Carnaval Night concerts at the Orange Bowl, jazz concerts, a Latin drag show and a Miss Carnaval contest.

Bambu - 1661 Meridian Avenue, Miami Beach. This restaurant is co-owned by the actress Cameron Diaz but it does not need her name to bring the diners in, as the food is great, delicious Asian fusion sushi. You may just catch sight of the occasional celebrity.
Ayestaran - 706 SW 27th Avenue, Little Havana. There is a large Cuban population in Miami and this huge Cuban restaurant set in the Cuban district of Little Havana offers authentic Cuban cuisine at good prices.
Gino's - 731 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach. Open round the clock, this restaurant serves authentic New York-style pizzas, it’s the ideal place to eat after a hard nights dancing. It's also famous for a commitment to remaining open, even during the hurricanes that ravage Florida.

The Abbey Brewing Company - 1115 16th Street, South Beach. This small venue is the only microbrewery in South Beach. Their creamy Oatmeal Stout is the most popular brew on offer.
Churchill's Hideaway - 5501 NE 2nd Avenue, Little Haiti. This is a British pub located in Little Haiti that has rugby and soccer matches on video and genuine UK beers on tap.
Tobacco Road - 626 S Miami Avenue. This is Miami’s oldest bar, it has a friendly atmosphere and is popular with locals for its excellent live R&B, Blues and Jazz sets.
Crobar - 1445 Washington Avenue, South Beach. The club scene here doesn’t get going until the early hours of the morning, so get plenty of sleep in before you go.

| Miami Beach - This is one of the best city beaches in the World as the water is clear and warm and the sand white and clean. The Promenade is a mass of skateboarders, in-line skaters, bicyclists, dog walkers and people watchers.
