The Avenues - The Avenues features two-stories of entertainment, music, gift and fashion. The shopping complex is a collection of 160 specialty stores, department stores, and collectibles. Many special events and promotional events frequently occur in the mall including antique auctions.

Adventure Landing – Families will enjoy spending a day at Adventure Landing. The family fun center is located between the Intercoastal Waterway and Jacksonville Beach. Here children and adults can enjoy batting cages, a waterpark, miniature golf, go-carts and laser tag. The admission to the water park is $13–$17 and all of the other attractions are pay as you play.
Jacksonville Zoological Gardens – Everything from Native Florida wildlife to African white rhinos are to be found at the Jacksonville Zoological Gardens. The zoo features thousands of animals of a wide variety of species. Visitors can enjoy an overlook area where the elephant and giraffe habits can be viewed.
Jacksonville Museum of Science and History – The Jacksonville Museum of Science and History is located on the St. John's River and is near the excitement of downtown Jacksonville. The museum is complete with a planetarium and an animal exhibit. Visitors will enjoy the many different display and exhibits on everything from marine life to local history. The Holozone is filled with interactive games and simulators.
