Daytona Beach – The beach is an amazing 500 feet wide and almost 23 miles long. It is lined with numerous hotels, restaurants and bars. You need never go more than a few feet from the beach during your entire time there. The only pressure you will be under here is to remove your clothes and sunbathe.
Daytona International Speedway – Daytona on International Speedway Boulevard. Approximately 150,000 people can be seated here and the course is home to several big race meetings each year. The year's major event is the Daytona 500, stock-car race which is held in February. Be warned, tickets sell out early for this event.
Daytona USA - This museum which is located immediately outside the Speedway, exhibits include one of Malcolm Campbell's numerous Bluebirds. This car is the one in which Campbell broke the land speed record at Ormond Beach in 1931. There are also a number of interactive displays on the great races in the building.
Space Needle – Located at the end of Main Street Pier, the Needle offers views around Daytona Beach and what is left of the pier after Hurricane Floyd demolished most of it in 1999.
Bulow Plantation Ruins State Historic Site - Old Dixie Highway, north of Ormond Beach. Founded in 1821, "Bulow Ville" plantation was destroyed in the Seminole Indian War. There are ruins and open-air museum on the site plus picnic facilities and canoe rentals. |

Inlet Harbor - 133 Inlet Road, Ponce Inlet. You can eat on the marina whilst listening to a selection of local bands.
Julian's - 88 South Atlantic Avenue. This mock-Tahitian lounge is worth a visit as it has great food,
Hooter's Restaurant - 2100 West International Speedway Boulevard. This wonderfully tacky restaurant offers a wide variety of sandwiches , hamburgers, seafood, and wings. If you are in a hurry, then try “Hooters to go?”.
Norwood's Seafood Restaurant and Wine Shop - 400 E. Second Avenue, New Smyrna Beach. The bar here is well stocked with wines, beers and spirits and they have a happy hour, what more do you want?

Tir Na Nog Irish Pub - 612 E. International Speedway Blvd. This lively Irish pub has a great atmosphere and even greater Guinness.
The Green Turtle - 2301 S. Atlantic Ave. – If you love karaoke, then this is the place for you. Lose yourself and sing 'My Way', well everybody else does.
The St Regis Restaurant and Patio Bar - 509 Seabreeze Blvd. This place is a great favourite with the locals as it serves excellent food as well as a wide range of drinks.
Ocean Deck Restaurants - 127 South Ocean Avenue. Daytona Beach's only Oceanfront Reggae Night Club, go here for live music and a great atmosphere.
TomBoys Bar & Grill - 322 Seabreeze Blvd. This bar is very popular with the local gat community.

Daytona Beach Surfing School - 91 Ormwood Drive. Ormond Beach. All of the students are taught water/ocean safety and marine life awareness before every lesson. The school provides safe, soft surfboards free of charge for all lessons.
Angell & Phelps Chocolate Factory - 154 South. Beach Street, Daytona Beach The free-guided tour here takes visitors behind the scenes to show how chocolates are handmade and boxed for chocolate lovers throughout the USA.
Marine Science Centre – 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet's new Marine Science Centre will educate and entertain the kid’s. The centre houses a whale, mangrove, and sea turtle exhibits, as well as sea turtle rehabilitation facilities. There is also a 5,000 gallon artificial reef aquarium, static and interactive educational displays.
Barnyard Friends Animal Farm - State Road 44, New Smyrna. The farm will appeal to the kids as there are over 200 farm animals plus Pony Rides, Hay Rides, Milking Goats, Holding baby chicks, ducklings and bunnies, handfeeding our whitetail deet, cows, sheep and chickens.
