Bruce Museum - One Museum Drive, Greenwich. This art and science museum, situated in a park, has fourteen exhibitions that change annually. The permanent exhibitions on display include a minerals gallery; a marine tank; and displays about the environmental and historical development of the area. This is a great place to learn about Greenwich and the surrounding area.
Discovery Museum - 4450 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. This museum and planetarium is one of the most amazing places to visit and is not to be missed when in Bridgeport. The museum has many interesting and interactive exhibitions about space and science. There are a wide range of activities on offer for children of all ages. Admission is $8.50 for adults; $7 for children, students and seniors; and children under 5 are free.

It is very popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. You can come and relax in the pleasant atmosphere, while having a few drinks and meeting some people.
Park Avenue Old Timers - 382 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. This bar has been a favourite with the locals for many years and is popular with young and old. They serve a wide range of beers and other drinks at reasonable prices. This is a great place to go and have a drink while mixing with the locals. |
