Maroon Bells – Known as some of the most photographed mountain peaks in North America no trip to Aspen would be complete without visiting Maroon Bells. Visitors can experience beautiful hikes around Maroon Lake, which offers breathtaking views. An extremely popular destination the area is only accessible by bus in the summer months. Make sure to pack your own food and water; there isn't anywhere to stop for miles.
Independence Pass – Enjoy a gorgeous drive from Aspen over Independence Pass. At 12,095 feet the pass is ranked as one of the highest paves roads in all of North America. Be sure to pack a camera because the views are un-like any other. Those that get easily car sick may not be comfortable with the hairpin turns and steep road side drop-offs but if you can stomach the drive the view will be an exceptional reward.
Aspen Mountain Skiing – Known as some of the best skiing in the entire nation Aspen Mountain is a convenient ski stop for in-town visitors. The powder packed runs spill right into the town streets. The mountain features 8 ski lifts servicing 76 ski trails. The majorities of the trails are designed for experts or intermediates and should not be tired by beginners. On top of the mountain one can find trendy restaurants offer great people watching views and dinning.

Elevation - Contemporary and intimate Elevation is located downstairs in the heart of Aspen. Cozy and comfortable the restaurant is a nice change from the other sometimes-snobbish restaurants in tow. The menu offers great food at reasonable prices and the bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the slopes.
Renaissance - Chef-owner Charles Dale has won Food and Wine Magazine's Best New Chefs award and has twice been nominated for the prestigious James Beard award. The bright, contemporary dinning area is a terrific backdrop for the French-influenced menu selections. Diners can choose from a wide variety of single entrees or the nine-course dinner for $150 per person.
Olives - Olives an upscale, trendy restaurant is known as the place to be seen in Aspen. The menu offers an excellent selection of Mediterranean dishes prepared by nationally acclaimed chef Todd English. For dessert try the sinfully delicious smores.

Alpine Mountain Market - Find and excellent selection of high-quality foods and more at one of the busiest markets in town. Smaller is size the market makes up for it is the wonderful selection of meats, produce, dairy products and more. For those that are looking for convenience the market offers a great selection of food-on-the-go.
Snowmass Antique Show - Becoming more and more popular the Snowmass Antique Show is now offered twice during the summer. Antique dealers and peddlers from all over the company showcase everything from antique furniture and knick-knacks to heirlooms. The show is famous for offering the highest quality collectables and antiques. Conveniently located in Snowmass Mall visitors can easily find many places to dine.
Aspen Wine and Spirits Company - A wine lovers paradise the aspen Wine and Spirits Company offers over 900 wines from around the world. The beer selection is just as impressive with many microbrews and beers that are hard to find. The store is open Monday–Saturday and offers free delivery to parties and special events.

Glenwood Caverns – Enjoy an exciting and educational tour of the Glenwood Cavers. The caverns offer tours of many different "rooms" in the mountain that showcase beautiful natural stalagmites and stalactites. Visitors will enjoy the tram up the mountain to the caverns and the gift shop. For those that enjoy spelunking make reservations for the Wild Tour, which allows visitors to explore many of the cave's undeveloped chambers.
H2J Riding School – Located in the Cozy Point Ranch visitors to H2J Riding School can learn to ride horses in one of the two outdoor learning arenas. The school caters to all levels of riders and offers a summer camp for children. All riders are required to wear either cowboy boots or hiking shoes; tennis shoes are strictly prohibited.
Tube Town – The premier sledding spot on Snowmass Mountain can only be found at Tube Town. A fairly new addition to the region, Tube Town is becoming increasingly popular to locals from all over the state. Admission is $15 and includes access to special sledding tubes and unlimited access to the sled runs. Adults must accompany children under 6 years of age.
