Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum - The museum is located on 3058 Highway 50. The museum is home to an excellent collection of artifacts which date back to the earlier years in Tahoe. The museum also features a photo library which contains beautiful photographs.
Genoa Courthouse Museum - The museum was built in 1865 and served as the original Douglas County courthouse up until 1916, when it was then used to house the post office. The historical building is today home to wonderful collection of exhibits consisting of Washo Indian basketry, Indian artifacts, and exhibits on Indian life. The museum also has a gift shop and is open 7 days a week.
Roberts House Museum - The house is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and was built in 1859. Located in the East Parlor, visitors will find an interesting collection of furnishings and vintage photographs and the West Parlor is home to a wonderful collection of historical displays. |

American River Cafe - Located on 15 Highway 50. The restaurant is open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. The restaurant offers a wonderful menu consisting of a large selection of dishes, including local and various tastes of International cuisine. The cafe is uniquely decorated with a river and two waterfalls which flows through the restaurant onto bold and beautiful rock formations, a truly exhilarating experience.
Chase's Oyster bar & Louisiana Grill - Located on 1901 Airport Road. The restaurant has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and offers the most magnificent views of the rich natural landscape which surrounds it. The restaurant offers a large menu consisting of a variety of local and international cuisine. There specialties include delicious dishes such as crab cakes served with roasted red pepper tartar sauce and New Orleans shrimp boiled and served with Chase's famous cocktail sauce.
Evan's American Gourmet Cafe - Located on 536 Emerald Bay Road. The restaurant is situated in a typical Tahoe cabin which is surrounded by gorgeous pine trees, voted as the finest eating spot in South Lake Tahoe. The restaurant offers its guests a wonderful selection of different cuisine tastes and styles from around the world. |

Applebee's Neighbourhood Grill & Bar - Located on 3987 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The perfect place to enjoy an evening of delicious food and ending it off with an ice cold beer (or any other drink for that matter) whilst in the company of good friends.
Bear Moon Bar - Located on 901 Ski Run Blvd. The bar offers its guests a unique and stylish drinking experience, offering a wonderful selection of local and International beers, wines and most of the other popular drinks. The staff are very friendly and make it their main aim to ensure that guests feel welcome as soon as they walk in.
Club Nero - Located in The Caesar's Casino. The club features a very classy atmosphere and has loads of go-go dancers as entertainment. It's a pretty pricey affair, but definitely worth a visit. Expect to dance the night away to the latest popular tunes, as well as some older classics. |
