Cathedral Bascillica of Saint Joseph – This enormous cathedral was originally built in 1877 but was restored to its original splendor. The hug strained glass windows bend and change the colors of the sunlight that pours through them onto the floor and pews. Masses are held in Spanish and English.
Old Town San Diego – The history and culture of Old Town San Diego makes for a great day to spend any afternoon. The area was first established over 225 years ago as a mission. The area is now home to 37 shops, restaurants and entertainment. Visitors can observe artisans, dancers, galleries, theatre and many shops.
San Jose Museum of Art – Everyone will find something that they love at San Jose Museum of Art. The museum is a collection of contemporary art, lectures, tours, special events and exhibits and children's programs. Local artists find the museum as their own personal haven. Stop by the museum bookstore or cafe, which offers a delightful selection of seasonal items.

Habana Cuba - Those that love the spices and flavors of the Caribbean must make reservations at Habana Cuba. Hispanic Magazine named the restaurant one of the Top 50 Spanish Restaurants in the Country. The menu features items that are hard to find anywhere else, but those that do not enjoy spice may want to be cautious.
La Fondue - Everyone in the family will truly enjoy an evening at La Fondue. The restaurant has a celestial feel with throne type chairs and rich golds, purples and dark blues make the interior seem like a beautiful night sky. The wait staff undergoes serious training in the fine art of fondue. The menu features over 50 different types of fondue entrees and desserts.
La Foret - La Forest was names one of the "50 Best French Restaurants" in the United States. Any diner will soon see why. The menu offers wonderful entrées like rack of lamb, quail, and Australian lobster tails. Guests will enjoy the dining area, which was renovated from an old boarding house for miners that overlooks the Los Alamedos Creek.

Great Mall of the Bay Area - Great Mall of the Bay Area offers shoppers a beautiful and refined shopping experience in the largest indoor mall in Northern California. This already daunting shopping complex is currently expanding and will include a 20-screen movie theatre and enormous entertainment complex. Paramount’s Great America – Children will have a great time at Paramount's Great America. The theme park offers many amusement rides, cabaret shows, special events and all types of activities for children and adults. IN the summer months check out on of the many musical acts that visit the park.
Children’s Discovery Museum – Experience two-floors of excitement and adventure at the Children's Discovery Museum. The museum offers children many types of activities and exhibits. There is also face painting, a maze and many hands-on activities. Sitting right by the Guadalupe River Park visitors can enjoy a mid-day picnic next to the gently rolling waters.
Happy Hollow Park and Zoo - The whole family will enjoy a day at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo but the park especially knows how to entertain children 12 and under.
