Palm Springs Aerial Tramway – Travel from the bottom of the dessert to the towering heights of Mt. San Jacinto. Once at the top travelers can enjoy many hiking trails, mule rides and restaurant and bar. Sometimes the temperature drops drastically during the ride so make sure to dress appropriately.

Indian Canyons – Indian Canyons offers a quiet and relaxing escape from the ritzy resort feel of Palm Springs. Enjoy splashing in one of the running streams or enjoy a picnic on along the waters edge. Tours are available of the canyon and there is a gift shop for visitors to browse through.

Moorten Botanical – For over 60 years Moorten Botanical has been hailed as a landmark and is recognized as the world's first cactarium. The garden offers more than 3,000 varieties of dessert cacti and plants. In this Wild West setting visitors may also see many dessert creatures.

PALM SPRINGS RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
Cedar Creek Inn - Know by the locals as a favorite for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The menu features a few low priced items and many deluxe entree selections. Their corn-fed beef is tender and juicy and their homemade desserts are to die for.

Las Casuelas - The fun and excitement never ends at Las Casuelas, even when the sun sets. Enjoy terrific Mexican food and a large selection of some of the finest tequilas in the world. The place is always busy and guests can either sit inside or outdoors near the busy sidewalk. Don’t let the colder months slow you down, the restaurant offers a heated dance floor. Listen to the music of strolling mariachi bands that play all day every day.

Kaiser Grille - Kaiser Grille is a favorite place for you and your honey to enjoy a quiet and intimate dining experience. This is a favorite stop before heading out to Muriel's nightclub, conveniently located just across the street. Enjoy exceptional dishes at reasonable prices and an extensive wine list with many by the glass selections.

Desert Hills Premium Outlets - Desert Hills Premium Outlets is not a typical outlet mall. The mall offers more than 120 famous brand and designer name outlet stores. Shoppers will be pleased to find significantly discounted items on clothing, house wares, shoes and more.

Palm Springs Mall - The mall offers shoppers’ great value and selection and is located next to the Palm Springs Festival of Arts. Shoppers can also find many personal services like a hair and nail salon as well as many specialty shops and boutiques. Parking is abundant and free to shoppers.

The Alley - The inventory and selection at The Alley change constantly so shoppers can usually find something that suits their fancy. The shop is eclectic and features a wide range of trinkets, gifts and merchandise at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers are in for a surprise as well as a bargain.

PALM SPRINGS CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES Add your favourite children's spot
Brush Creek Ranch – The Brush Creek ranch is a children's paradise with hands-on, interactive exhibits and activities. Children can go on an archaeological dig and search for ancient Indian artifacts, dress up and explore more than 50-interactive exhibits. There are many traveling shows that make a stop at Brush Creek Ranch. An adult must accompany children during the entire visit.

Olly-O-Land Children's Art Gallery – View unique paper sculpture that are modeled after the book The Whimsical Verse of Olly-O, by Molly James. The sculptures represent the characters and themes found throughout the book. There is also a gift shop where visitors can purchase a copy of this exciting book and other Olly-O related items.

Palm Springs Village Festival - This exciting fair is held every Thursday in the open air of Palm Canyon Drive. Many of the nearby hops and restaurants stay open late. The sidewalk is crowded with food and craft booths as well as street entertainers that marvel the crowd with magic, glorious costumes and fun filed music.
