LAKE TAHOE ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Emerald Bay – This beautiful bay is home to the Vikingsholm, which is a large, Victorian/Scandinavian mansion located on the bay’s shore. This mansion’s architecture has Norwegian and Scandinavian influences. Tours are available during the summer months. Accessible to visitors either by road or by the bay. If you are planning on parking make sure to come early because parking fills up quickly.

Tahoe Rim Trail - This 150-mile loop trail makes its way around Lake Tahoe. The trail is perfect for hikers, bikers or equestrians. Trail travelers will wind through wilderness, parks and lush forests. Enjoy breathtaking views for many stops along the trail.

Heavenly Ski Trail - As one of the largest ski resorts in the United States Heavenly Ski Resort attracts summer and winter travelers. The ski area spans Nevada and California and offers a wide variety of shopping, restaurants and some of the best skiing in the country. Enjoy skiing on open bowls, and un-groomed trails perfect for powder skiing at some of the highest elevations found in California .

Sierra Vista - Located on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore Sierra Vista sits prestigiously on the shores of the lake. Enjoy majestic views of the lake and basin while dining on international cuisine. The location has also become one of the largest marinas in the area. The menu incorporates flavors from all around the world. Perfect for lunch, dinner or your special occasion.

Evans American Gourmet Café - Evan’s Gourmet Café is the total dining experience. The chef handpicks all of the ingredients that go into each delicious dish. Dine on fresh seafood while enjoying a glass of wine from their extensive wine list—many of which are from California wineries. The service is as impeccable as the food.

Hoss Hoggs - Make you dinner more exciting tonight with a trip by Hoss Hoggs. Listen to live music while dining indoors or out or just relaxing in their bar. Their menu features American fare and barbeque dishes. Perfect for a night out with friends or an exciting dinner with the family.

They make great pizzas. The Meatball Pizza is our favorite. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Whenever we visit Lake Tahoe we make a point of eating here. We have been enjoying this restaurant for over ten years.

LAKE TAHOE SHOPPING Add your favourite attraction
Lake Tahoe features world class shopping in a variety of fine-shopping establishments, many of which are to be found in one of the glorious casinos or high-class ski resorts. Stop by Caesar’s Galleria of shops to find gifts from around the world and exquisite clothing.

The shops located in the casinos are reminiscent of shopping in the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas with a Lake Tahoe flare. Harrah’s Hotel also features many shops and boutiques where you are sure to find the perfect souvenir or gift. Heavenly Resort features ski and souvenir shops along with some unique restaurants.

LAKE TAHOE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES Add your favourite children's spot
Spooner Summit – Sledding has never been this fun! The thick powdery hills at Spooner Summit are perfect for a day of sledding. You won’t miss it located on the southwest corner of highway 50 and 28. Don’t forget to bring your own sled and mittens!

Camp Richardson’s Corral - Bring the whole family for a day of horse back riding, wagon rides, and sleigh rides—in the cold winter months. The corral offers guided tours for children 6 years and older. Families can take advantage of evening dinner rides complete with a steak dinner grilled on an open barbeque pit.

Children’s Museum of Sierra Nevada – The museum, located just across the California border, is a great place for kids to learn and grow. The museum features hands-on arts and crafts, interactive learning centers, computers and story times. Kids of all ages can explore and lean in an interactive and exciting atmosphere at the Children’s Museum of Sierra Nevada.
