CHICO ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Chico Museum - 141 Salem Street. The museum is housed in the spectacular Carnegie Library building, and is one of the places not to be missed when in town. The museum features a wide range of permanent exhibitions that display the history of Chico from it's early beginings to the present.

National Yo-Yo Museum - Bird In Hand 320 Broadway. This is one of the most interesting museums and is a great place to take the children. The museum is the home of the Duncan Family collection, which features yo-yos from the 1920s through to the 1950s. The worlds largest yo-yo can also be seen here.

Stansbury House - 307 W. 5th Street. This beautiful Victorian home was the former home of Dr. Oscar Stansbury, and dates back to 1883. Guided tours are given on Saturdays and Sundays and are highly recommended in order to get a glimpse of what life was like in the late 1800s.

Beachfront Deli - Located on the beachfront. This is the best deli in town, and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They offer a range of the best sandwiches served on excellent fresh baked bread, made with only the freshest ingredients. This is a great place for a quick lunch.

5th Street Steakhouse - 345 W 5TH Street. This is one of the best restaurants in town, and it is very popular with locals and tourists. They serve a wide range of traditional American food, such as steaks; ribs; and burgers. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Amigos de Acapulco - 820 Oroville Avenue. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chico, and it is very popular with locals and especially tourists. They serve a wide range of excellent Mexican food, from tacos to fajitas and everything in between. This is the place to go for a taste of Mexico and an unforgettable dining experience.

CHICO BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Bullshooters Saloon - 106 West 15th Street # D. This is one of the best nightclubs in Chico, and it is popular with locals and tourists alike. This is the place to go to experience a night out western style, with square dancing; line dancing and many more western favourites.

Joe's Bar - 749 West 5th Street. This is one of the best bars in Chico, and is very popular with locals and tourists. They have live music most nights, and there are also pool tables; many TV screens that show live sporting events. This is a great place to go and meet people, while having a good time.

Last Call Lounge - 876 East Avenue. This is one of the most popular places in town, and is frequented by the young and trendy locals. This is a great place to go and have a more relaxed night out on the town, while sipping on some cocktails and meeting some of the locals.

Crazy Horse Saloon - by Dave (AHBA) from United States - 2007-06-18
This 12,000 sq ft nightclub is a must visit while in Chico. Definetly one of Chico's, & Butte County's landmarks. Once inside, it's easy to see why it has been voted the #1 entertainment venue in N. California. If you go only one place while in Chico, make sure you visit this place. We give it the highest revues.

CHICO PARKS & GARDENS Add your favourite park & garden
Bidwell Park - Located along the banks of Big Chico Creek. The park is one of the largest in the U.S., and covers an area of 3,750 acres. This is a great place to take the family for a break from th ehustle and bustle of the city. The park has a wide range of facilities on offer, including an 18-hole golf course; baseball fields; swimming holes; children's playground; as well as roads and trails for jogging; hiking; cycling; and horseback riding.

Downtown Chico City Plaza - In the city centre. This plaza dates back to 1872, and is a great place to have lunch and do some people watching. In summer there are free music concerts held on friday evenings, that showcase the best of the local talent. This is a great place to take a break and relax.
