HOT SPRINGS ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Hotsprings National Park - established in 1832, the park has 57 thermal springs, 30 miles of hiking trails throughout the Ouachita Mountains, picnic areas and scenic drives. Also stop by the Visitrs Centre located in the restored Fordyce Bathhouse with its stained glass windows and the De Soto fountain. The centre also serves as a museum for the thermal bathing industry and has a book store.

Bathhouse Row - located at Central Ave., this row of 8 bathhouses built between 1911 and 1923 has been declared a National Historic Landmark. The Fordyce bathouse has a museum and visitors centre and at the only working bathhouse, the Buckstaff, visitors can enjoy traditional thermal mineral baths and Swedish massage.

Arkansas Walk of Fame - located at 629 Central Ave. infront of Fordyce Bathhouse. A row of bronze plaques paying homage to Arkansas' most famous residents. Plaques include former President Bill Clinton, General Douglas MacArthur and baseball legend Brooks Robinson.

Hot Springs Mountain Tower - located at 401 Hot Springs Mountain Drive. Take in the breathtaking 360 degrees views of the Ouachita Mountains from the observation tower. The tower has two observation levels and stands at a height of 216 feet.

Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum - located at 250 Central Ave. This interesting museum depicts 38 different scenes with over 100 wax figures. Scenes include, the stairway of the stars which depicts past and present movie stars, world of make believe with Snow White and Alice in Wonderland, reproductions of Englands crown jewels and the world of horrors featuring medieval tortures.

Dixie Cafe - located at 3623 Central Ave. This popular chain of restaurants features delicious southern home cooking. Menu highlights include mashed potato and gravy, pot roast, black eyed peas, fried chicken as well as an olf fashioned soda fountain. http://www.dixiecafe.com/

Pancake Shop - located at 216 Central Ave. This is a true Hot Springs classic that serves the most mouthwatering sweet and savoury pancakes and the most wonderful breakfasts.

Venetian Dining Room - located at 239 Central Ave. on the first floor of the Arlington Resort Hotel. The dining room was constructed in 1923 and has remained largely untouched since then, combining Venetian charm with old world elegance and a touch of Hot Springs. Outback Steakhouse - located at 180 Pakis Street. A visit to the midwest would be incomplete without eating at a great steakhouse. Outback serves the highest quality food prepared fresh daily. Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat - located at 5200 Central Ave. This passenger riverboat can carry up to 400 passengers and offers lunch, sightseeing and dinner dance cruises. The boat also has a lounge and full bar. http://www.belleriverboat.com/

Sams Pizza Pub and Restaurant - located at 401 Burchwood Bay Road. This is a popular off the beaten track spot. The menu offers a large variety of food from American to Italian, a great br and a small stage for local musicians.

Stillwater Grill - located at 801 Central ave. Serving good food and a fantstic full bar. There is also live entertainment most nights.

Maxines International Coffee House and Bar - located at 700 Central Ave. A popular place that serves fragrant gourmet coffees and great appertizers as well as a good bar.

HOT SPRINGS PARKS & GARDENS
Garvan Woodland Gardens - located at 550 Arkvidge Road. The garden covers 210 acres of Ouachita Mountain terrain. The foreseted peninsula extends into Lake Hamilton and showcases freeflowing streams, waterfalls, a gazebo and lovely floral landscapes.

Lake Catherine State Park - located at 1200 Catherine Park Road, this stunning park is situated on the shores of Lake Catherine and has cabins as well as camping facilities. activities in the park include 3 hiking trails, boat rentals, free fishing pier and horse riding.

HOT SPRINGS CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
Magic Springs Theme Park and Crystal Falls water Park - located at 1701 U.S 70 East. These two theme parks combined have over 75 attractions including the Arkansas Twister rollercoaster, runaway mine train, Rum Runner Pirate Ship and Kit n Kaboodle Express Train. The waterpark is the largest in Arkansas.

Funtrackers Family Park - located at 2614 Albert Pike. A great park for the whole family with tons of activities including bumper boats, game room and go carts. The Safari Falls Miniature Golf Course is located right next door.

Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo - located at 847 Whittington Ave. The huge petting zoo includes a large diversity of animals such as mountain lion, turtles and ostriches. The alligator farm features over 200 alligators.
