Scottsboro-Jackson Heritage Centre – Scottsboro. The Centre's Native American Room contains a large collection of Indian pottery and tools from Jackson County. If you visit in October you will catch the annual South Eastern Native American Festival.
Kimbell House - Mayton Drive. The house is one of last surviving pioneer-type dwellings left in Jackson. It was constructed of heart pine and cypress.
Loranz-McCrary House - 500 Commerce Street. Located in the heart of the old Pine Level Historic District. Built in 1900, the structure is one of Jackson’s finest examples of Queen Anne-style architecture and is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
Ole Timey Craft & Blue Grass Festival – Scottsboro. Held in September, here you enjoy the Bluegrass & Country Music, and all you can eat of Cajun and Down Home cookin'. You can also step back into the past with demonstrations of basket weaving, blacksmithing, Native American crafts and a Civil War re-enactment.

Goose Pond Colony - 417 Ed Hembree Drive. Take a trip to Goose Pond Colony. It has been called "the best kept secret in Alabama." The park is surrounded on 3 sides by the Guntersville reservoir. Catfish Festival – Scottsboro. September. Take the kids to see the 3-day catfish rodeo, Car Show and enjoy 11 hours of good music..
Jackson Fall Festival/Kids Fest - Commerce Street. The kids will enjoy this festival as it features a kids fest which will keep them entertained for hours. Entrance is free.
