| The best time of the year to go is in summer, this is when most of the really good festivals are happening, the snow is melting, and spring is coming. Winter is not very exciting here are should rather be spent skiing a little south in British Columbia or Alberta. The province also has some of the longest summer days in the world, with the sun often never setting. |

| Getting around in the Yukon area is very simple. Busses and airplanes connect most of the major cities in the province, but this the best way around is in a car. There are car rental places in both Whitehorse and Dawson City. When driving around though remember two things; most of the roads are in good condition but there are plenty of gravel roads about, and the price of fuel can be quite high so budget correctly. |
