Farnham Castle - is the only intact castle in Surrey. It was built in the mid 12th century by the then Bishop of Winchester and now houses a conference centre. The Keep is the only part of the castle that is open to the public. From here there are good views over Farnham to the Downs.
Farnham – Castle Street. A stroll down this attractive street is worth doing as it is home to some lovely Georgian houses.
Guildford - is the county town of Surrey and has a lovely cobbled High Street with a lot of picturesque narrow lanes and courts leading off High Street to the adjacent North Street. There is a lovely gilded clock in High Street that has for over 300 years kept the town’s time.
Norman Castle – The ruined castle behind the High Street still has a Keep and is surrounded by lovely gardens. Beneath the castle you will find the town museum which houses mementoes of writer Lewis Carroll the author of the children's classic books Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Dapdune Wharf - Just a short walk from the town is this wharf whose buildings house an interactive museum which relates the story of Britain’s oldest working waterway, Outside the restored barge Reliance is open to visitors.

Nelson Arms - Castle Street, Farnham. This oak-beamed pub serves good bar food.
Caffe Piccolo -, 84 West Street. This is a very good Italian restaurant with a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
King's Head - Quarry Street. This comfortable pub has a courtyard and serves good, inexpensive meals.
Café de Paris - 35 High Street, Guildford. This is a popular French bistro, which is located in a lovely old listed building. The food is good and reasonably priced.
Olivo - 53 Quarry Street. This is a lovely restaurant that serves appetizing regional Italian dishes. The restaurant is situated in a sixteenth-century dispensary.

Thorpe Park - Staines Road, Chertsey, Surrey. There are a huge range of attractions and rides in this park. They are spread through 5 areas each of which has its own fast food outlets and shops.
Chessington World of Adventures – Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey. The Park is divided into several theme areas and there are rides to suit most tastes such as water, inversion and roller coaster style rides etc. There is also a wildlife centre on the site.
Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex - Parkway, Guildford. This is an exciting leisure complex. Where kids will enjoy the range of activities on offer here, such as: swimming, ice skating, bowling and more under one roof.
