Sailing - There is most definitly no other holiday available as relaxing as sailing on a traditional Turkish gulet along the heart-stoppingly beautiful coast.

Diving - Whether you are a beginner or a certified diver, the crystal clear waters in Torba offers a variety of diving from calm shallow reefs to caverns, walls, drop offs and tunnels. You can expect to see various marine life ranging from moray eels, octopus, tuna, jacks, barracuda's and lobster to dolphins.

Waterskiing - If you are a outdoors kind of person you will enjoy nothing more than waterskiing by the long curved beach. The beach is ideal for watersports, also available for entertainment is windsurfing, parasailing and dingy-hiring.

Zeytin Dali Restaurant - If you relish at the thought of chilling out with a cool breeze under beautiful olive trees, watching the blue and the green meet with joy, and having gozleme, manti or grill in a tent or in the oriental area while your children are having a blast in the playground - then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

Secret Garden - Located in the town of Bodrum, 5km from Torba. It has a ultimate romantic atmosphere and is located up the small street opposite the Marina. Expect to find Modern Mediterannean style dishes, both beautiful and colourful and which is often very original and always delicious. The menu features treats such as frogs legs in garlic sauce, hot tomato tarts, rabbit in cream, sea bass in vanilla butter and chicken liver and brandy pate.

Denizhan - Situated on the outskirts of the town. Upon entering you will be greeted with a Lavash ( Turkish balloon bread ), delicious starters and the best grilled meat. Remember to leave some space for their unique and well known Künefe, a sweet with cheese.

Located in the heart of Torba, The Menthol is an open air restaurant that specializes in meat and vegetable B-B-Q and a wide variety of traditional Meze. Try the aubergine & meatball or the meter-long lamb kebabs. Fresh salads and tasty rice. Cold tankards of beer or raki, accompanied by a fresh fruit platter. Cheap, friendly and atmospheric.

The Alara - by Lorna o'Connor from Ireland - 2006-12-05
The Alara Tavern is a traditional turkish restaurant located on the waterfront in the heart of Torba. You can eat on the bayside terrace or enjoy a drink in the Ottoman-style bar. There is no menu to speak of, simply a fresh fish counter and an array of local mezes. A truly atmospheric experience.

The Simone (The Chimney) - by D. Updike from Ireland - 2008-02-12
The Simone is situated not far from the beach in the tranquil village of Torba (at the bottom of Ismet Inonu Caddesi). The taverna is named after the impressive wood-burning oven at the heart of the dinning room. Sit inside or take one of the pleasant, well-shaded outdoor tables. The menu is quite extensive, ranging from grilled fresh fish, lamb kababs, koftes (meatballs), pides (pizzas) and mezes (turkish tapas). The food is delicious, the beer is ice-cold, and the ambience is good-natured and laid-back (as befits the idyllic surroundings). Highly recommended.

TORBA BEACHES Add your favourite beach
Located in the small peaceful village of Torba, 5 km from Bodrum, you will find the most extravagant beaches where the shining sea connects with the green pines and olive trees. It offers a great destination for numerous watersports.

Another definite must see is Gumupluk. One of the oldest settlements of the Peninsula, it is still possible to see the underwater remains of the old harbour wall that connected Tafpan Island to the mainland. Enjoying sun-downers here amist the extraordinary green vegetation will be a life-long memory.

TORBA SHOPPING Add your favourite attraction
Turkish style open markets are available, where you can buy a selection of hand made items which are produced locally. Also available at the market is fresh food and drinks. Expect to find a few stalls selling traditional Turkish souvenirs.
