Puerto Naos - The traditional fishing village of Puerto Naos has a diving base from where you can view exotic fish, which live in the black coral reefs & volcanic caves. Or take a boat ride to Santa Cruz and along the way you might get to see dolphins, whales and turtles in the crystal clear water.
Los Llanos - is a small city on the west coast and is worth a visit. The plaza is the venue for local concerts and fiestas, kept cool by the masses of huge laurel trees. This is also where you can find the town’s indoor market which sells local fresh produce such as exotic fruits, smoked goat’s cheese and fish.
Casa de Tabaco - If you are a smoker or enjoy cigars head over to Casa de Tabaco to see how the hand made Cuban style cigars, which you see for sale all over the island, are made. |

Jardin de Los Naranjos – Located in El Pinar area of Puntagorda is this excellent restaurant that has a European menu, and takes care of vegetarians as well as carnivores.

Los Cancajos - Although the black lava sand at this beach may be a little surprising, the beach and waters are incredibly clean. If fact this beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanliness. Facilities include changing cubicles, toilets and first-aid posts.
Piscinas La Fajana - For something different from the normal day at the beach, try taking a swim in or sunbathing by one of many natural rock pools known as Piscinas La Fajana. These can be found near Barlovento in the north of the island. |
