Garajonay National Park - This is possibly the main attraction of El Cedro. The town is located within the national park and makes an excellent base for exploring the park. The park consists of luscious rain forests and high mountain peaks, which are often covered by fog. Here you can wander around nature, while getting a glimpse of the island's past.
Hiking - This is one of the top attractions in El Cedro, with most of the tourists to the town hiking up to to the town from Hermigua. There are a number of hiking trails found throughout the area, which are perfect for nature lovers who want to explore the national park. Guided hiking tours are also on offer. |
