COSTA DEL SOL ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Marbella - If it is good enough for the likes of Sean Connery, and all those other international jet setters, then Marbella must have something special about it. It does. With 320 days of sunshine annually, and gorgeous beaches to enjoy it on, the cobbled streets of Casco Antiguo, and beautiful people popping up behind every designer palm tree, Marbella offers a taste of the glitzy glamorous life. Surprisingly affordable, even the budget conscious can enjoy their place in the sun beside Antonio Banderas and others.

Nerja - Pristine beaches and spectacular caves have made Nerja one of the Costa del Sol's most popular destinations. So, if you enjoy the bustling throng and pale feet in flip-flops really turn you on, this could be your personal paradise.

Mojacar - Imagine a picturesque village set on a hilltop overlooking a turquoise sea. It is twilight and the glorious sunset pours a golden light over the scene. You are sitting on a terrace filled with the scent of flowers and sipping a chilled marguerita. Relaxing after a day on the beach, you are planning your evening at one of the nightspots in town. You are in Mojacar, jewel of the Costa del Sol.

COSTA DEL SOL RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
La Acacias - Playa Las Acacias, El Pedregalejo. (Malaga) If you have spent too much the previous night and your budget is as tight as a ducks bum, then head for this lively eatery where the service is frantic and the prices magic.

La Casa de Te - C. Ancha, 7. (Marbella) Vegetarian sandwiches and delectable Indian yogurt and fruit juices for refreshment, incense filling the air with peace and tranquillity, and cushions scattered everywhere... not only your body is nourished at this place, but your soul as well.

Eco Dulces - C.Compania. (Malaga) Enjoy breakfast from this bakery, or pack a picnic basket with its delicious fare and super cheap fare.

Pizzeria Mama Rosa - Po. Maritimo at Av. Miguel Cano. (Marbella) On the beachfront and perfect for take-away pizzas, this is a great hunger-buster and conveniently close to the fun in the sun.

Buenaventura - by Buenaventura Marbella from Spain - 2005-03-17
The best Cuisine in the Old Twon. Marbella. The first thing that truly draws attention is its decor and design, which is highly agreeable and well cared for, right down to the minimum touch, without losing sight of the flavour of a typical place, in complete harmony with modernist line elements, thus achieving an intimate and cosy ambience.

Meal at Restaurant Buenaventura - by Sarah Bardsley from United Kingdom - 2005-08-25
We have been getting round to submitting a review of this restaurant for some time. Please note that this is an overpriced restaurant, which will try to rip you off with overpriced drinks. We hoped for a lovely meal, however, to cut the story short ended up with a cold soup where we found a piece of cling-film lurking in the bottom. My partner had then ordered a dish of king prawns, which would have been fine apart from a spiral of tin curling among the prawns, like that from a food tin. We complained about these things, but agreed to pay the bill. The manager then offered a drink, which we assumed was by way of an apology, but which he then charged us for ... it was a whisky which ended up costing us £12 for that drink alone. The staff in the restaurant turned pretty threatening when we argued about the service and bill and in the end we just paid and left... horrendous, both the food and the behaviour of the staff. Please beware if you to visit the restaurant. Sarah and Neil

COSTA DEL SOL BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Donde Bolivia 41 - C. Bolivia, 97. (Malaga) Relax over a drink or play a leisurely game of pool during the week, but be prepared for an influx of riotous revellers over the weekend.

Kashmir - C. Rafina, 7. (Marbella) Mix with the young international crowd in this smoky den that is so reminiscent of the brown cafes in Amsterdam.

Venue - C. San Pedro. (Almeria) The younger crowd gathers here to shake their booty, sometimes to the occasional live music put on by the club.

Time and Place - Pl Flores (Mojacar) Enjoy the soothing atmosphere while you sip cocktails and reflect on how fortunate you are to be in this dreamy place of beauty.

COSTA DEL SOL BEACHES Add your favourite beach
Beaches of magnificent beauty, quiet and peaceful, or busy and filled with cheerful holidaymakers and their kids, beaches for wind-surfers and paragliders, beaches, beaches, beaches! The Costa del Sol is the beach-lovers paradise.

COSTA DEL SOL PARKS & GARDENS Add your favourite park & garden
Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata-Nijar - This 60 kilometres of protected land covering both coastline and inland on the almost desolate peninsula sees flamingos flocking to the salt marshes, while wind surfers flock to Nijar and its rippling waves. Scuba divers explore the watery depths of Mermaid's Reef, and film buffs check out the barren and mountainous regions where Lawrence of Arabia and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, were filmed.

Jardines del Partal - Princesses looked down from the Torre de las Damas over gardens with pools of water lily’s flowing beside terraced rose gardens in this beautiful place known as the Alcazar, a royal palace in Granada.
