Parque Las Aguilas - Carretera,Los Cristianos. This is the major attraction in the area and is situated just behind the Los Cristianos resort. The huge area contains tropical gardens and animals. They organise animal shows on a regular basis. Plenty to do and see here and a fun filled family day is gaurenteed.
Mariposa - Located 2km to the east of Arona (Ask about it , because there are no signs). This is a unique place in the country, as it was established as a park where creative thinking is encouraged and artists could establish a sort of colony. Lack of funds meant the project was a dead duck, but the idea did not die and the area has been turned into a sculpture/art garden and a mini museum showing various artefacts found in the area.
Aqua Park - About 5 minutes from Arona is one for the kids. Plenty of water rides, tubes, slides and rapids. There is a regular dolphin show at the lake. For the adults, when you are tired of riding the rapids, then relax in the sun bed area by one of the pools. There are restaurant, snack bars and some shops.

Arona Gran Hotel - The hotel has a lively bar and disco. For a quieter night try the hotels piano bar with sea views and a chance to discuss the days events to the tinkling piano keys in the background. After your meal, why not watch the show and then spend a night dancing to the latest hits at the disco.
Chicago's - Edf. Bucanero, Los Cristianos. Great location right on the beachfront. This night is for the mature visitor. Cabaret nights happen four nights a week and range from female impersonators to rock star impersonators. The only thing real here is the good time you will have.
The Chill Out Bar - Playa Las Vistas, Los Cristianos. Why not just chill here as the name suggests. Great to relax and watch the passing parade in the day time, but it's at night when the place is at it's most laid back. Sink into one of the sofas and enjoy the live Jazz at night. |

Los Cristianos - The resort is not as crowded as it's neighbour las Americas. It is a wide expanse of soft, silky sand, backed by restaurants, cafes and bars. A great swimming beach as well. You can hire anything that you can't carry. Perfect for the family.
Playa de las Americas - Just a few km away is this resort that is more popular with the young generation. Although it is wide it can get crowded in the season, but there are a number of smaller beaches within walking distance. Backed by all the facilities and lovely mountain views.
