TOP DESTINATIONS Add your favourite destination
Amsterdam – Amsterdam is Europe’s fourth most popular destination after London, Paris and Rome. The city boasts some of the best restaurants, museums and nightlife in the country. Its most famous attractions include its canals, Anne Franks House and the van Gogh Museum.

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen – Located in Rotterdam, this museum is famous for one of the finest collections in the country. The museum has works that range from the middle ages to the ultra modern.

Maastricht – The small town of Maastricht is located in the finger of Holland between Belgium and Germany. The mix of cultures makes it the best place to eat in the country.

GREAT OUTDOORS Add your great outdoor
The Keukenhof Gardens – The Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse is the place to go to see tulips. In spring, the mass of colour and fragrance is breathtaking.

Hoge Veluwe National Park – Located to the east of Amsterdam, the densely wooded Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the few places where one can get some peace and quiet close to urban centers in Holland.

MOVING AROUND Add your opinion
Schiphol International airport is the primary Dutch destination for most major airlines; some smaller feeder or regional airlines may use other airports around the country. The rail network around the Netherlands is outstanding and is the best way to travel. Most stations have a bus terminal near by. The road network is also first class; be sure to plan your route, as most signs will be in Dutch.
