Valletta - The capital of Malta is not far from St Julian's Bay and well worth visiting as there is just so much to see.
St John's Co-Cathedral - St John's St, Valletta - What with the clock tower the interior with its floors of marble tombstones - it's worth checking out.
War Museum - depicts Malta's involvement in the 2nd World War. It is both informative and moving and it is where you can view the Goerge Cross which was awarded to the people of Malta for their bravery.
The National Museum of Archaeology - Republic Street, Valletta - you can find the Sleeping Lady here, supposedly dating back to 3000 BC. |
