| Santa Lucia is a fairly young town, which began development in the 1950s. It is an extension of the dockyard towns of Paola and Tarxien which was built on agricultural land nearby. This little village has grown and now has it's 3rd generation of residents. |

Hypogeum - Tel 21825579 - In Paola are the fascinating and complex underground burial chambers. It is an absolute must to book tickets up front as there is a waiting period for tours. That's how good it is!
Tarxien Temples - Could be as old as 3000 BC. These temples are a certainly worth a visit. |
