Museo Archeologico Nazionale - Piazza Museo Nazionale 18-19. This museum houses one of Europe's most important archaeological collections, including the Farnese acquisitions, and the mosaics and sculptures excavated at Pompeii and Herculaneum. The building dates back to the 16th century. There are many exhibits to see and you can spend hours wandering through the entire museum.
Catacombe di San Gennaro - Via di Capodimonte 13. Guided tours take you through this two storey underground cemetery, which dates back to the 2nd century and is filled with interesting frescoes and mosaics. There are many things to see along the tour, and it is recommended to take one of the tours when in Naples for the first time.
Santa Chiara - Via Benedetto Croce. This church was built in the early 14th century, under orders from Robert the wise, king of Naples. The light-filled interior is filled with chapels, each of which contains some leftover bits and pieces of sculpture or fresco from the medieval church. There are many interesting things to see in the church, and it is one of the sights not to be missed in Naples. |

Pizzaria Brandi - Salita Santa Anna di Palazzo 2. This is the most historic pizzeria in Italy and was opened in the 19th century. They serve a wide range of excellent pizzas at reasonable prices. This pizzeria is popular with both locals and tourists, and is a great place to go and have some of the best pizza in the world.
Don Salvatore - Strada Mergellina 4A. This restaurant, located at the waterfront, is one of the best seafood restaurants in Naples. They serve a wide range of local seafood dishes, and the selection of wines in the cellar are the best in Campania. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. A main course costs around $12.
Il Gallo Nero - Via Torquato Tasso 466. This is another excellent restaurant serving local traditional cuisine, and is very popular with locals and tourists. They serve a range of excellent dishes, based on 100 year old recipes, including Neapolitan linguine with pesto; rigatoni with fresh vegetables; and tagliatelle primavera. This is one of the best places to go to sample some traditional food in beautiful surroundings. |

Batida 2000 - Via Petrarca 9. This is one of the most popular bars in Naples, and is frequented by the trendy locals and tourists aswell. They serve a range of drinks, beers, spirits, sandwiches and appetizers to cater for everybody's taste. This is a great place to go and relax, have a few drinks and mix with the locals.
Chez Moi - Via del Parco Margherita 13. This is one of the city's best night clubs, and is popular with the over 25 crowd of locals and tourists. They play a range of all the latest dance hits, and sometimes have a cabaret act. This is the place to go if you're looking for a party, that will last till the early hours of the following morning.
Tongue - Via Mazonik 207. This is the best gay night club in town, and is situated in the Posillipo neighborhood. It is popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists, mostly gay people but all are welcome. This is a great place to go and dance, meet new people and have a few drinks. |

Acquaflash - Via S. Nullo. This water park, just out of Naples, is a great place to take the children for a fun day out. There are a number of facilities on offer, including swimming pools; waterslides; a solarium; gardens; rest areas and many more. This is a place for fun for the whole family.
Magic World - Via S. Nullo. This amusement park, recently opened, is located just out of Naples. It is open all year round, and has many exciting rides that your children will absolutely love. There are also snack bars and cafes, where you can take a break and have a bite to eat. |
