Greek Amphitheater - Located at Via del Teatro Greco. This is the most popular of all the attractions in Taormina and Mazzaro Bay. The remains that here date back to the 2nd century A.D. The Amphitheater offers amazing views of Mount Etna and the seacoast. The Greek theater is the site of the annual Taormina film festival, which attracts film makers and celebrities from all over the world.
Museo Archeologico di Taormina - Located in the Palazzo Badia Vecchia. This is the newest museum in Taormina and is located on the site of the ancient ruins of Roman baths. Exhibitions on display here include hundreds of archeological artifacts discovered during excavations around the town. This is a great place to learn about the history of the region.
Duomo - Piazza del Duomo. This fortress cathedral was built in 1400 on ruins of a church from the middle ages, and has a Latin cross plan and a trio of aisles. The nave is held up by six pink marble monolithic columns. The ceiling of the nave's wooden beams are held up by carved corbels decorated with Arabian scenes. |

Granduca - orso Umberto I 172. This is one of the top restaurants in town and is frequented by locals and tourists. There is an outdoor section in the garden, which has amazing views. They serve a wide range of excellent local dishes and offer an great selection of local and Italian wines.
Club Septimo - Via San Pancrazio 50. This outstanding restaurant offers amazing views of Taormina, Mazzaro Bay and the Ionian Sea. The restaurant's location is one of the most beautiful in town, with large terraces and age-old trees. They serve a range of classic and modern cuisine and the prices are very reasonable.
Ristorante La Griglia - Corso Umberto I 54. This is one of the newest restaurants in town and is located within the stone walls of what was a private palazzo in the 1600s. They serve a wide range of excellent local dishes, with the best selections of Sicilian antipasti in town. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. |

Bar San Giorgio - Via Porta Mola 9. This bar is found on the main square of the town, with a relaxed cafe downstairs and a lively bar upstairs. It is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals and tourists, and is a great place to go and relax, have a few drinks and chat to some of the locals.
Mocambo Bar - Piazza IX Aprile 8. This is one of the best outdoor bars in Taormina, and is popular with a mixed group of locals and tourists. In colder weather you can sit inside, but if the weather permits sitting outside is the way to go. This is a great place to go and relax, meeting people while having a few drinks.
Club Septimo - Via San Pancrazio 50. This is the top disco club in town and is frequented by tourists in their 20's to 40's. Fashion shows and other gala events are often held here. DJs spin a mix of all the latest dance and pop hits. This is a great place to go if you're loooking to dance and party till the sun comes up. |

Isola Bella Nature Reserve - This nature reserve, the pearl of the Ionian Sea, is an amazing island to visit. The reserve is open to visitors all year round, but spring is the best time is to go. This is a great place to go to get away from the busy beach resort life and relax amongst the beauty of nature.
Giardino Pubblico - Via Bagnoli Croce. This public garden is filled with flowers and overlooks the sea, and is a great place to relax and take in the breathtaking views. There is a bar located in the garden, which serves a wide range of drinks; coffees and light snacks. |
