Cattedrale di San Lorenzo & Campanile - Situated on Tommaso Reggio 17. The church dates back to the 13th century and has become world renowned for its bands of black and white marble which adorns the facade. The church houses the Chapel of John the Baptists and it is believed that it contains his remains.
Galleria Nazionale - The national gallery is situated on Piazza della Pellicceria 1. The gallery is housed inside a 16th century palace and is home to a wonderful selection of art. The museum also has a wonderful selection of decorative art on display such as silver, ceramics and furniture.
Museo di Palazzo Reale - The Royal Palace Museum is situated on Via Balbi 10. The palace was built in 1640 and was originally intended to by the private residence of the Balbi Family. The palace is home to a wonderful gallery which displays a range of artworks such as paintings, sculptures and antiques from the 17th and 18th centuries. |

Gran Gotto - Situated on Viale Brigate Bisagno 69R. The restaurant was opened in 1937 and has been going strong ever since. The menu consists predominantly of a large range of delicious seafood dishes, however they do also serve a selection of tasty pasta and meat dishes.
I Tre Merli Antica Cantina - Situated on Vico Dietro il Coro della Maddalena 26R. This is one of the most popular local restaurants, featuring a wine menu consisting of more than 300 different wines. The menu consists of a range of traditional Genovese cuisine.
Da Giacomo - The restaurant is situated on Corso Italia 1R and is considered by many to be the best restaurant in town. The restaurant features a very modern and elegant dining room which is completely littered with exotic plants. The menu consists of a selection of Ligurian cuisine, their specialties being meat, fish and poultry dishes. |

Mako - Sitauted on Corso Italia 28R. The club features a lovely restaurant, a relaxing piano bar and a lively disco all in one. There is a bit of entertainement available for everyone and is quite a popular choice with locals.

Genova Park - Situated on Avda. Doctor Gomez Ulla 11003. The park was formerly known as the Paseo del Perejil and today is one of the finest relaxation spots in Genova. It is a perfect spot for long relaxing walks.
It is also equipped with lovely picnic spots, where the entire family can enjoy the tranquil environment which the park has to offer. |
