CAPRI ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Faro Anacapri Punta Carena - This lighthouse built on the headland of the island of Capri was built over a hundred years ago, and is the second most powerful lighthouse in Italy. It's easy to get there by taking a 10 minute bus trip, and the views from the lighthouse make the trip worthwhile.

Villa Jovis - Monte Tiberio. This is the amazing ruin of the estate from where Tiberius ruled the empire from 27 A.D. to 37 A.D. There is alot to see at the ruins and there's a view of both the Bay of Salerno and the Bay of Naples, as well as Capri itself. You can visit the ruins of the imperial palace daily from 9am to 1 hour before sunset.

Blue Grotto - The Blue Grotto was discovered in August 1826 by the German writer August Kopisch. The discovery of the remains of an ancient landing place and traces of work on an underground tunnel created an image of a natural cave decorated with statues reflected in the intense and brilliant blue of the sea that has fascinated visitors for many years. The BLue Grotto is not to be missed when in Capri.

CasaNova - Via Le Botteghe 46. This family run restaurant is one of the best on Capri, and is popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of local dishes and the cellar has a great selection of italian wines. The seafood on offer is always fresh and well prepared. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

La Pigna - Via Lo Palazzo 30. This restaurant, opened in 1875, serves excellent meals at good prices, and is popular with both the locals and tourists. The atmosphere is amazing, with a greenhouse ambience filled with flowers and guitarists strolling by your table playing Neapolitan ballads. They serve a range of excellent local dishes, the herb-stuffed rabbit is highly recommended.

Da Gemma - Via Madre Serafina 6. this restaurant is accessed by walking through a vaulted tunnel beginning at Piazza Umberto I and winding through dark underground passages. They serve a range of Caprese dishes, with an emphasis on fish and seafood. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. This restaurant is not to be missed when in Capri.

CAPRI BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Taverna Guarracino - Via Castello 7. This ultra modern bar is popular with the locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of beers, wines and spirits. This is a great place to go and have a few drinks, while mixing with some of the locals.

Bar Tiberio - Piazza Umberto I. This large and comfortable bar, with seating inside and outside overlooking the busy sqaure, is popular with locals and tourists. It is a great place to sit back, relax and have a few drinks, while watching life in the busy sqaure go on by.

Number Two - Via Camerelle 1. This is one of the best and most popular night clubs on Capri, and is freaquented by a crowd of locals and tourists, of all ages and nationalities. This is a great place to go if you're looking to have some fun and dance till the early hours of the morning.

CAPRI BEACHES Add your favourite beach
da Gioia - Localita Marina Piccola. This is a family run swimming establishment in the bay of Marina Piccola. There is a solarium on the waterfront and an excellent restaurant serving seafood specialities. This is a great place for the whole family, you can relax in the sun or go for a swim in the sea.

Bagni di Tiberio - Located near the ruins of the Roman Villa. This beautiful sandy beach is a great place to go if you want to do some swimming. You can either take a 15 minute motorboat boat trip from Marina Grande, costing around $6, or you can take a 30 minute walk through rocky landscapes with flowering plants and vineyards. This beach is a great place for the whole family to have some fun in the sun.

CAPRI SHOPPING Add your favourite attraction
Grazia Vozza Goielli - via Li Campi 22. This little shop is a great place to go and buy some local handcrafted jewellery, including a collection of necklaces in peridot; jade; amber; and aquamarine. They also sell a wide range of freshwater pearls.
