Baroque Churches - Located near Val Thorens on the Chemin Baroque. Guided group tours to all three Baroque churches leave Val Thorens and follow the Baroque Route, stopping at each of the churches. These tours are excellent and should not be missed.
Skiing - Val Thorens is all about skiing and all things related to snow. There are many outdoor activities available here, including skiing; snowboarding; hiking; and dog sledding, plus many more. This is another excellent ski location in France and caters for everything level of experience.
Mountain Guides - This is one of the most beautuful areas in Europe, with 6 glaciers it opens on endless fields of powder snow in breathtaking surroundings. The Guides Office offers excellent daily tours from beginners to advanced levels. You can discover the glaciers of the Vanoise, one of the most amazing sites in the world. |

Le Scapin - Located in the centre of town. This is one of the best French restaurants in town and is very popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve an excellent range of local dishes and also have a good selection of French wines. This is a good place to sample some of the local cuisine.
Le Glacier - This is another one of the excellent French restaurants found near the centre of town. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and it is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. they serve an excellent range of local dishes and the prices are reasonable.
El Gringo - Located near the centre of town. This lively Mexican cafe is very popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve a range of excellent Mexican food, such as: chili con carne; fajitas; enchiladas; chips and salsa; and margaritas. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. |

Rhum Box - Located in the centre of town. This small bar has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and is popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve a range of drinks, their speciality is flavoured rums. This is a great place to hang out and meet some of the locals, while having a couple of drinks.
Frog and Roastbeef - This is the highest pub in Europe and is one of the most popular with the tourists. It is a great place to go if you're looking for an English pub in the french Alps. This is a great place to go if you're looking to have a few drinks, meet some people and have lots of fun.
Beach Mountain - Located in the centre of town. This is the best dance nightclub in town and is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. The prices are a little above average, but this is the place to go if you want to dance and party the night away. |

| Snowpark - Located near the centre of the resort. This snowpark is a great place to do some snowboarding, or just to kick back and relax while watching some of the freestylers in action. There are many things to do at the park apart from snowboarding, u can have a drink or bite to eat as well. |

| Le Montana - Located at the bottom of the resort. This mini-club is open to children from 3 months old. They offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities for children of all ages. They also have qualified ski instructors to teach your children how to ski, the courses are available to children of all ages and levels of ability. |
