Tignes Heritage Centre - Located in La Maison de Tignes le Lac. This museum houses seven centuries of history in photographs; artefacts; and recorded accounts. This well presented exhibition on two floors shows how the village coped with a high-altitude environment, changing with the modern world. It is a museum not to be missed.
Skiing - Tignes is another one of the outstanding skiing destinations in the French Alps and is very popular with tourists from all around the world. There are many outdoor activities that you can choose from: skiing; snowboarding; mountaneering; and hiking are just a few on offer.
Bois de l’Ours - This forrest is one of the most popular attractions of Tignes in summer. There are around fifty workshops for adults and children from 4 years, which include an overhead hung rope bridge; a Tyrolean bridge; and a Himalayan bridge. There are also many adventure trails to walk along, wxploring the amazing forrest. |

Daffy's Cafe Tex Mex - Located in Le Val Claret Centre. This is one of the most popular cafes in town, with locals and tourists alike. It is a great place to go and grab a quick bite to eat, they serve an excellent range of Tex Mex food at reasonable prices.
L'Armailly - Located in Les Brevieres. This restaurant and pizzeria is very popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve a wide range of pizzas and pastas, at very reasonable prices. This is a great family restaurant, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
La Cote de Boeuf - Located at Le Lac Le Bec Rouge. This is one of the best restaurants in town, they serve a range of excellent local dishes and have a good selection of French wines. It is popular with both the locals and tourists. The prices are a little above average, but the food is well worth the extra. |

Alpaka Cocktail Bar - Located in Le Lac Rosset. This is one of the hippest and trendiest bars in town, it is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. This is a great place to sip on a few cocktails, while meeting some new people.
Harri's Bar - Located in Le Lavachet. This bar is very popular with tourists, who are looking for something a little more familiar to an english style bar. They serve a wide range of beers and wines, there is a dart board for a couple of games of arrows. This is a great place to have a drink and meet some fellow tourists.
Piano Bar du Montana - Located in Les Almes. This bar is an excellent place to go if you're looking for a more relaxed evening out, listen to some mellow live music. It is popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve a range of beers, wines and spirits at reasonable prices. |

Snowpark - The new snowpark is one of the most popular places in town. The team constantly changes the orientation of the park, and are always available for some instructon. There are a table top and hips and handrails of all sizes, for getting big air or working on your first tricks. The park caters for all levels of experience, with 1 beginners' pipe and 1 pro pipe.
Tignes Lake - This beautiful lake is a great place to go and relax, but there is much more on offer. There are a range of sports on offer: volleyball; boules; table tennis; table football; children’s playground; and much more. If you're looking for some quiet time to relax, try some fishing. The Tignes lake is not to be missed when visiting the town. |
