Musee Des Allues - Located at Maison Bonnevie. This excellent museum showcases the history of the valley and its traditions. There are four exhibition rooms, which are filled with some very interesting and informative displays. This museum is not to be missed.
Chemins du Baroque - 81place Saint Leger. This old Baroque church, with its amazing architecture, is a sight not to be missed. There are weekly guided tours of the church on offer, at a cost of $6.50, these tours are highly recommended and are a favourite amongst the many international tourists.
Skiing - Meribel is another one of France's top skiing destinations. There are a whole host of snow related activities on offer: skiing; snowboarding; mountain hiking; high-altitude mountain climbing; are just a few of the things you can do. |

La Taverne - Located in the heart of Meribel. This is one of the best restaurants in the town and is very popular with tourists. They serve an a la carte menu offering a mix of international and experimental cuisine, as well as some local dishes. They also have a great selection of French wines.
La Tsaretta - This homely restaurant is found in the centre of Meribel. They serve Brittish influenced French cuisine, which is popular with the locals and tourists alike. The food is excellent, the service friendly and the prices are reasonable.
Cafe la Terrasse - Found at Le Plateau. This friendly cafe is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. They serve a range of local dishes at very reasonable prices. This is a great place to go for lunch, kicking back and enjoying a good meal. |

Le Poste de Secours - Located in Meribel centre, this bar is one of Meribel's more chic establishments, without being exclusive. It is French-run and is very popular with the in crowd of locals. This is a great place to go and have a few drinks, while mixing with the locals. Try the Champagne Cocktails.
Jack's Bar - Located at BP. 55 in La Chaudanne. This is a more trditional English type bar and is very popular with tourists. They serve a range of drinks at reasonable prices. This is the place to go if you miss home and want to chat with some fellow tourists.
Le Loft - Found at Parc Olympique in La Chaudanne. This is the best and most popular nightclub in Meribel, where they play a mix of the most popular dance hits. This is the place to go if you're looking to dance and party the whole night long. |

La Vanoise National Park - This national park is a great place to go for a day trip, it is found at an elevation of 1,250 m to 3,855 m; and has almost 500 km of marked trails. Here you will discover awsome viewpoints, protected flora and wildlife. These hiking trails are not difficult and are accessible to all.
Tueda Natural Reserve - This nature reserve is located just below the Vanoise National Park. It was created in 1990, and stretches from Lake Tueda to the Gebroulaz glacier, along the Doron stream. There is a marked botanical trail, which allows visitors to discover 80 species of Alpine flora. There are also many interesting and endangered species of birds that live here. |
