Skiing - Les Orres is another one of the excellent skiing destinations in the French Alps and is very popular with tourists from all around the world. There are many outdoor activities that you can choose from: skiing; snowboarding; mountaneering; and hiking are just a few on offer.
Snow Carnival - Held every year in February. For 3 days the town is overwhelmed with: make-up workshops; coloured decorations; parades of clowns; and the creation of a Giant out of papier mache, which the children will burn to eat the sweets inside it's stomach. There's a lot of fun for everyone and this is one of the most popular attractions of the town.
Mountain - There are many daily guided tours of the surrounding mountain. The views are spectacular and the tour guide will take you on an adventure of times gone by, through largely unspoilt nature. These tours are not to be missed when visiting Les Orres. |

La Marmotte - Located in the centre of town. This is one of the best restaurants in town and is very popular with the locals and tourists alike. They serve a range of excellent local dishes, at reasonable prices. The atmosephere is warm and friendly, this restaurant is not to be missed out on.
Pizzeria la Dolce Vita - Located at Hodoul square. This pizzeria and restaurant is very popular wioth both the locals and tourists. They serve a range of excellent pizzas and pastas, at very reasonable prices. This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner.
Sandwhicherie Chez JP - Located at Hodoul square. This cafe is a great place to go and have a light meal for lunch. They serve an excellent range of sandwiches and other local light meals, at very reasonable prices. It is very popular with both the locals and tourists. |

Les Caves - Located in the centre of town. This is one of the best bar/nightclubs in town. It is very popular with both the locals and tourists. They have theme nights from time to time, which are always a lot of fun. This is a great place to go and party the night away.
Le Bongo Furie's - Located in Pramouton. This is possibly the best dance nightclub in town. They have live music on some nights, but usually have a DJ that plays all the latest hits. This is the place to go if you're looking to party with some of the locals or fellow tourists. |

The Trapper's Excursion - Open to children from the ages of 6 to 12 years. This is a great adventure for children, a guide takes the children on the tracks of animals and helps them to build an igloo in which they a special lunch. This is a whole lot of fun and your children will absolutely love it.
Juni'Orres Club - Open for children from the ages of 6 to 12 years. Every afternoon during the school holidays, this club looks after your children free of charge. There are many indoor and outdoor activities on offer. This is a great place for children to learn something new and have fun at the same time. |
