Plage de l'Ecluse - This is dinard's main beach and is also known as La Grande Plage, it is the strip of sand between the peninsulas that define the edges of the old town. It is very popular with families and vacationers, it's crowded on hot days. This is the place to go for some fun in the sun, there are also plenty of shops and cafes for anything you could need.
Sea Museum - This museum houses exhibitions which document the explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot, and his boat the Porquoi Pas which was built locally. There are many interesting things to see in the museum and it is not to be missed.
Musee du Site Balneaire - This interesting museum houses exhibitions that document the history of Dinard and Brittany region. There are many informative displays throughout the museum and it is a must for history buffs. |

Altair - 18 bd. Feart. This intimate restaurant serves excellent local cuisine, which includes: sea scallops in puff pastry with coriander sauce; fresh salmon with herbs; ravioli with oysters, and pulverized crayfish. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists alike.
Le Prieure - 1 place du General-de-Gaulle. This family-style, 1900 style restaurant is full of seafaring bric-a-brac. They serve traditional food and the portions are large. Some of the dishes on the menu are: sauteed sole in beurre blanc with baby potatoes; and grilled salmon with a stir-fry of seasonal vegetables. Desserts like creme caramel round off the menu. The view out over the La Rance estuary is amazing. |

Le Metro-Dome - Located at Le Haut-Chemin. This bar, with its great selection of wines and friendly atmosphere, is very popular with the local residents. This is a great place to go and sample some excellent wines, while meeting some of the locals and having great conversation.
Municipal Casino 4 - Boulevard du President-Wilson. This casino is the place to go if you've got some extra money and you're feeling a bit lucky. Come play roulette and blackjack, or try you're luck with the slot machines. The atmosphere is electric and the casino is very popular with locals and tourists.
La Brasserie - Found at the same premises as the Municipal casino, this bar is a great place to take a break from gambling and mix with the locals and other tourists. They have an excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits. |

Plage de St Enogat - This smaller and slightly isolated beach is situated just outside of Dinard, about a 20 minute walk to St Enogat. It is a great place to go if you're looking for a more private and peaceful day in the sun, here you can relax and enjoy some quiet time.
Plage du Prieure - This beach, about a ten minute walk from the centre of Dinard, is another great spot to kick back and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists centres. There are many trees that give shade to the beach and there are swimming pool-style basins along the beach where you can swim. |
