Skiing - Visiting Arc 1800 is all about skiing and all things related to snow. There are many outdoor activities available here, including skiing; snowboarding; hiking; and dog sledding, plus many more. This is another excellent ski location in France and caters for everything level of experience.
Maison de la Pomme - Located in the Village de la Chal. This is an eco-museum housed in an old chalet. The museum demonstrates the skills and techniques used in farming, through the use of photographs, different objects and texts. There are many interesting displays throughout the museum.
Le Petit Musee - 82 Avenue du Marechal Leclerc. This amazing museum, located just out of Arc 1800, is where you can discover the unique Savoyard crystal seeker collection, and see the crystals and furnaces of the ancestors. It is a beautiful place to visit and has many amazing exhitbitions to see. |

L’Arpette - This high-altitude restaurant is located between Arc 1600 and Arc 1800. You have the choice of sitting either on the south facing terrace, which offers beautiful views of the Tarentaise valley or in the lounge with a warm fire. They serve a range of excellent local dishes at reasonable prices.
Casa Mia - Located in Terrasse du Miravidi, this cozy restaurant/cafe is very popular with both the locals and tourists. They serve a range of local light meals and is an excellent place to go for lunch. Relax in the warm and friendly atmosphere, taking a break from all the skiing.
Le Thuria - Located in the heart of Arc 1800, this is one of the best restaurants in the town and is very popular with tourists. They serve a range of French and English food, and cater to almost anyone's taste. At night it doubles up as a bar, with live sporting events shown on the big screen t.v. |

Le J.O. - Located at Galerie de la Poste. This bar is also known as Live Rock Cafe, as the name suggests it is a great place to go if you want to watch some live music while having a great time. It is very popular with tourists and some of the younger locals. This is a good place to start you're night out on the town.
Apokalypse - Found in Les Villards. This is one of the best and most popular dance night clubs in Arc 1800, it is frequented by both the younger locals and tourists. If you're looking for a place to party and dance the night away, this is the place to go.
Sing Island Cafe - Located at Galerie Charvet. This bar has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and is popular with the locals and tourists alike. They have karaoke and pool every night, which garuntees that a great time is had by all that go there. |

Les Pommes de Pin - Located at base of the ski lifts at Arc 1800, this is where the children can play, run and walk about all day long. The Mini Club has been designed with children in mind, offering games rooms; show halls; rest areas; restaurants and terraces; and ski kindergartens.
Mini Club skiing courses - The Mini Club offers skiing courses for children of all ages, helping them to learn many things while having fun at the same time. They have excellent facilities and experienced teachers. Your children are garunteed to have a great time in the snow. |
