Fun City - Located just out of Playa Dorada. This is one of the top attractions of Playa Dorada, with fun for the whole family. The park offers go-karts; sprint and midgit cars; grand prix cars; bumper cars and much more. This is one of the activities in Playa Dorada that is not to be missed.
Golf - The Playa Dorada Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is one of the top attractions of the town. This golf course is a must for any golf enthusiast, they alsoo offer training facilities to help those new to the sport. Otro Mundo - Playa Dorado Comercial Plaza. This restaurant is a great place for the whole family, with a mini-zoo and many tropical birds, providing a different dining experience. They serve a wide range of local dishes, mainly specializing in seafood. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
Los Pinos - Located near the beachfront. This is one of the most popular restaurants in town and is frequented by locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of excellent international dishes. This is a great place to go and have lunch or supper, the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
Acuarela - Prof Certad 3. This garden cafe, housed in an old wooden house, is very popular with locals antourists, especially at lunch time. They serve a wide range of local dishes at very reasonable prices. This is one of the best places to go and have a relaxing meal in the beautiful garden. |

Hemingway's Cafe - Playa Dorada Plaza. This cafe is very popular with tourists looking for a good time. Friday night's karaoke sessions are the most popular, and Thursdays and Saturdays are rock 'n' roll party nights. This is the place to go if you want to meet up wth some fellow tourists and exchange stories and tips about your adventures.
Casino - Occidental Playa Dorada Hotel. This casino is the place to go if you're feeling lucky or in need of some extra cash while on holiday. They offer a wide range of gambling opportunities and a number of other entertainment activities. It is very popular with tourists and some of the locals.
Tropimal - This is the night club to go to if you're looking for a traditional Caribbean disco, it is very popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. They mainly play merengue music, which helps create the clubs unmistakingly Caribbean atmosphere. This is a great place to go and party, while mixing with some of the locals. |

| Playa Dorada Beach - This rocky beach is one of the best on this side of the coast, with warm water and many palm trees providing some shelter from the hot sun. This is a great place to take the whole family for a fun and relaxing day in the sun. There are massage ladies that walk around the beach offering massages at $15 for a half an hour massage.
