CABARETE ATTRACTIONS Add your favourite attraction
Windsurfing - Cabarete is one of the top windsurfing destinations in the world and is very popular with pepole from all over the world. With its wide beach and coral reef protected bay, the conditions are excellent for windsurfing. One of the highlights of the windsurfing calendar is the Cabarete Race Week, which attracts the top amateur competitors from around the world.

Cabarete Caves - These five million year old caves are found in the El Choco National Park and are one one of the most popular sights in town to visit. There are guided tours on offer, which take you through the caves explaining how they were formed and everything else there is to know about the caves. This is a great place to take the whole family.

Yasica River - There are a range of activities on offer at this beautiful river. There are tour companies that arrange safari-style excursions along the river and waterskiing is also on offer. This is a great place to get away from the hectic atmosphere found in town and get back to nature.

CABARETE RESTAURANTS Add your favourite restaurant
Las Brisas - T5710614. This restaurant is one of the most popular in town, and is frquented by locals and tourists alike. They serve excellent buffet dinners, specializing in local dishes and seafood dishes. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. This is a good place to go for something a little different.

Otra Cosa - T5710897. This is the best place in town to go for French Dominican food, the serve a wide range of local specialities at reasonable prices. The restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists, espeicially for dinner. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Bar Fly - JT5710529. This restaurant is the place to go for an evening you won't forget. They serve a wide range of international foos, including fish barbecue; Mexican specialities; and Chines fondue. It is very popular with locals and tourists, so reservations are required.

Wonderful little restaurant, run by owner with professional cook, great prices for both food and drinks, but most importantly, very concerned about cooking with high quality and healthy products. Highly recommend! (hidden in a small road by the Janet Supermarket)

Excellent French/Caribbean Restaurant. Great ambiance! Great food reasonably price; drinks are ways over priced though. Try the snails!!

CABARETE BARS & CLUBS Add your favourite bar & club
Tiki Bar - Located on the beachfront. This is one of the most happening bars in town and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. This is the place to go if you're lloking to have a few drinks and meet some new people. They serve a range of excellent coktails, which they are particularly famous for.

Onno's Bar - Situated near the centre of town. This is one of the most popular spots for tourists to hang out after a long day in the hot sun. The friendly and laid-back atmosphere make this the perfect place to kick back and relax, while having a few drinks.

The Green Room - Located on the beach next to the Bic Centre. This small and cozy bar right on the beach is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve the best sangaria in town, amongst many other Caribbean specialities. This is a good place to have a few drinks and mix with the locals.

In the middle of town, LAX is the place where young people get together. Very good prices. Excellent pizza. Try the Diabolo (hot but absolutely delicious).

CABARETE PARKS & GARDENS Add your favourite park & garden
El Choco National Park - This beautiful national park is located just out of Cabarete and is home to many different species of plants and animals. This is a great place to go to get away from the busy resort life and relax amongst nature. There are a range of activities on offer in the park, from walks to watersports. This is a great place for the whole family to have a fun day out.
